Jack is putting his all into this scene. You can feel the fear, pain and anger David is feeling. The subtle pacing of the scene is a good example of what Corrie can do at its best. I wouldn't have anything bad to say if Oates' time on the show was like this from the beginning.

I think the whole nation stood up and applauded last night after David told the police about being raped. Jack is a superb actor and can see he's putting every emotion into this scene. Looking forward to the rest of this week, lets hope Josh gets what he deserves!!

Which he did in Cornation Street but Josh will understand everything if David Platt told the kids and the police and everybody who was let down

I love the end of this clip. I love how David is hellbent on putting Josh where he belongs but still so broken by what he did. Stellar acting!

This is such a powerful storyline. He is a great actor. Who will go far.

Best actor right there.

This actor is amazing...ive been watching this story line on KZread (I'm in the US and only recently discovered this show)...and as a rape survivor myself,...he is doing a very good job with this.

David did the Right thing to tell the police

i wish Aidan was still alive, I feel like him and David could’ve bonded. Very different issues they suffered but they’ve both been through extremely difficult times and circumstances so I would’ve loved to see them see eye to eye for once

Some people believe for rapists not that bad but it can traumatize you in many ways

David has gone through so much bless him his sister had a baby at 13 he watched his wife die and now he’s been raped

Yeah and he didn’t deserve it. The only thing he deserved was to be attacked by Phil because David was trying to ruin Phil when Phil hadn’t done anything to him. Yes he wanted to use Richard Hillman’s Story for this thing but he wasn’t intending to cause any harm.

Asking of he gave CONSENT? HE COULDN'T GIVE CONSENT WHILE DRUGGED DRUGGED OR DRUNK CONSENT IS NOT CONSENT!

It's a question that has to be asked to rape victims and recorded to the extreme nature of the crime and the accusation. It has to be a clear and concise answer.

I feel sorry for David. Josh is so horrible and evil. well done David!!!
