This is weird, just binge watched 8 hours of the Richard Hillman storyline and never seen newer Corrie episodes and now jumping ahead exactly 20 years to see David now as a dad on the same sofa. Time travel stuff.

I think it's the actor who suggested all the recent scenes/lines with the dog...he's got 3 and people love the videos he uploads of him interacting with them.

How is that dog still alive? Must be 500 in dog years by now

@@emmacraig606 this time last year Jack Webster found out about his late mum Molly Dobbs and how Kevin his dad got her pregnant and Tyrone told him that he was married to his mum

I have yet to warm up to this Max, I do like the previous character better, maybe it's the voice I can't get use to , like he looks older but his voice doesn't quite fit, I don't know something is off for me. 🧐🤔

These kinds of talks Max really should be able to have with his mother Kylie Platt but he can't. So his dad David Platt is the only closest thing to a parent he's got right now. And Shona of course but Shona isn't Kylie is she. But David isn't the only one Max can open up about stuff like this to. Well there is his grandmother Gail Rodwell and great-gran Audrey Roberts and of course his uncle Nick Tilsley and his aunt Sarah Barlow but right now Sarah isn't the right person to give advice on love and relationships after what she and Damon Hay did to Adam Barlow. And since David is the only one he can turn to for advice on love and relationships etc then guess that would be alright especially since he's a man not a woman. His mother Kylie should have been there to give Max stern advice on love and relationships but the problem is she's not and David is. So it's great that Max can openly talk to his dad about this stuff anytime especially since Max Turner is finding pretty difficult settling back into Coronation Street after being in prison for his part in what Griff and Griff's scruffy mates did. What Max did Alya Nazir was worse. Alya can't get past what Max did with his part to her just like that.
