It seems that most of you seem to fail to miss the whole point of this entire thing - yeah, he could've beat him up, yeah, he could've killed him, but what David did is set himself free, and did it in a way that means that he is no longer a victim, and the police didn't have to get involved. Is that what this storyline is highlighting about handling it the best way possible?....

Good for David.....but Josh is still a serial criminal that NEEDS to be locked up. David knows he's done it before and he attempted to after doing it to him, so he's sort of doing a Batman by allowing the criminals to go free again

Agreed, it is supposed to give victims of sexual assault and rape encouragement to speak out. This doesn’t really do that, they needed an ending where he get’s real justice (prison)

The storylines in it are really silly and far fetched. I used to enjoy it 30 years ago with Percy & Phillis & Derek & Mavis etc. Nicer times.

I was so happy when I first watched this seeing David get closure. I believe this would help people who have being sexually abused in real life.

.....and then Josh dies and David gets the blame.

That last bit was so cringe ugh
