Cornwall Glass EVA Lamination Process

Watch the lamination process at our HIghbridge Branch, following the installation of our new TEMA LPB 2536-4 Laminating oven. Capable of laminating glass sheets upto 2500x3600mm the process takes 3 -4 hours through the heating oven depending on the glass thickness. For more information please email info@cornwallglass.co.uk

    The facility does not look like a dust free environment (e.g. open to the outside and wide open space inside). How do you eliminate dust off the two surfaces before laminating them together??

    Hi I'm just wondering what tool you are using to deflash/ clean the edges of the glass once it come out of the oven ? Thanks

    The tools was nice the surface of the glass was so clean no chippings while trimming the excess film good quality🖒

    These are commercial windows, see how thick the glass is. House impact windows are only 3mm thick or 1/8”. The outside glass is called sacrificial glass and that’s a single piece of glass 1/8”.

    Hi Ernest, Yes it is possible to drill through double and triple laminate glass as long as it hasn't been Toughened or Heatreated. Thank you Cornwall Glass
