@@Nighbot334 you can get cornrows But it's gone hurt like crazy when I was first growing out my hair when my hair was like 4 inchs I decided to get braids and it was the worst decision of my life, because I got a whole headache a bad one, so I would wait until at least until you get 6 inchs of hair growth,

@@Nighbot334 and to maintain and retain your hair growth, keep it deep condition, add some leave in conditioner before you pick your hair out, make sure to where a satin bonnet, wash your hair every two weeks to a month, when your hair get like 6 inches or more start getting protective hairstyles such as, cornrows, two strand twist.....etc, and another why to keep your hair moisturize is to add water before you pick it, your hair needs the right moisture.

@@u4jessii how long did the pain last for? And the headache too? Because my hair is like 2-3 inches rn, waiting until 6 inches will take way too long. And I heard protective styles make it grow faster. I’m willing to just handle the pain if it lasts for just a day

Last time I had a haircut was in October 2021 and been growing since then but right now I have 1 inch but I believe next month or April it'll be 2 inch and my wife will braid my hair with weave which it helps the grow and I love it especially I have a taper fade!👏🏽🔥😊

When I have to apply a lot of gel or edge control I use a tint brush because that makes the process go a lot faster.

@@kermly87 a tint brush, sometimes called a perm brush...has a point at one end for parting and a small row of bristles on the other end for applying color. It's also the brush commonly used for doing relaxers.

Depends how fast your hair grows but normally takes around 3-4 months to get braided

For afro, kinky and curly hair the best thing to do is moisturize moisturize moisturize for hair growth. Use products that keep your hair moist and not dry. Also a good nutrition/diet will help aid in hair growth.

I'm not sure how long it takes to grow 2 inches of hair but I currently have 1 inch I believe it's 4 months of growth. I hope to be able to get braids by the summer

it's very possible my sister did mines at that length and it was magnificent, you just have to know how much hair is needed for each section of the head.

If you’re close to 285 flea market off Glenwood, go see Fatima. She’s in the back. My hair is this short and she was able to do it today. Not promoting, but I ran into trouble finding somebody too and they had like 10 shops in there. I figured somebody would be able to. Lol.
