First time I've heard this one, brilliant track! Was such a massive Cornershop fan back in the day, have rediscovered you guys all over again!
Funky Sound ! What a Great Band ! I have to see the Concert ! 🎸🇩🇪🔥
Sometimes i have the idea to come and see this song again to marvel at the fact that a band can be so strange and yet so satisfying on the ears, that and it has me from when i was five. for me, all those together all add up to this being the perfect song for when i'm hung over.
some peace and some love and something sweet to munch.
KZread actually put this in my suggested. I'm still looking for that massive cake, it's been 12 years.
Just sent the link to my friend who works with kids all day as a music therapist. He teaches exactly such wonderful, quirky songs all the time. Just could become the next hot thing in the kindergarten set in Vancouver, Canada!
This tune just bangs. No matter how many times I hear this…I just dance.
Sorry, to reply so late, but Castle Hill Primary School is in Bolton, Lancashire. Really great that you like it, and project into the future, like the free thinking Hippie himself.
Heard this on the radio 📻 and had to Shazam it. Very cute.
Heard this on BBC 6 music (Marc Riley) - I'm a grown up, and I love this song!! I would love a future in which bands wrote songs for kids like this, and adults found their childhood niceness again.
My anthem for my long and immensely joyful journey through secondary school, thank you so much :)
I'm a 43 year old child and I love it, my eight year old son is a child and he loves it...YEAH!
Solid!
This track is utterly wonderful
Great ! Love this Song ! 🔥👍🏿🎸
greetings from the Philippines. heard this on a radio and got instantly hooked
Brilliant
Cornershop have made some great music, this is magic,in a similar vein to the Grandaddy song Nature Anthem, its uplifting and positive. The skies are blue when you listen to these songs.
I'm late to discover, but I'd have loved to have been in that music class
Gonna be a cracking album, can't wait. That track with Soko is utter bliss.
Multi-tonal glad :)
This track is on the next Cornershop album called Urban Turban, in fact there will also be a longer version of it on there too called The High Slung Satchel.
Coolest and most creative video I've seen in a long while...and of course an excellent tune. Love Cornershop music!
Hi there Natyxota182, thanks very much for your very happily received responses to some of our videos. Always good to have new people join us. The songs are varied but I hope you find more in the catalogue to fill your bag. Best Cornershophq

Me too, wanted to hear "We're in yr corner", then found this! I wonder if their online music shop takes postal orders?
great tune! Looking forward to hearing the album : )
Reminds me of a memory game I used to play on the way to school called "What's in Henry's big bag." Also, a massive massive MASSIVE cake!
Hey this is cool, love this.
Groovy!
What a cool tune :)
nice!!)
Hi there, yes our on-line shop: cornershop(dot)com does do physical and digital sales direct from the band. In fact, we have an excellent reputation for our shop.
excellent!
Ah, I found out. Manchester! Rave on, kids!
How is this not a children's song!?!?
that's lovely - you've got a lot of catching up to do then - please email us at info at cornershop com and we will send you streaming links for the recent catalogue
wish you would tour again...
Thanks Cornershop. You guys are an inspiration to me and my music. Ki Haal Tjinder Paaji?
Well that's exactly why it was done with children to get away from the preconceptions of adults of a hippie character. In fact, Tjinder was rather surprised to have got away with it, as the Manchester International Festival and BBC we involved in putting the song and video together - and we think that is rather good of them both.

@blikeredaxis such a nice comment we've tweeted it via @cornershophq - thank you for heartwarming words
Is it possible to get a karaoke version of this and he words? Would love to get my class to sing along to it and they can do art, IT and all sorts, it's lesson in itself!!
i wen to an event for this at media city and made my own versien.
fucking hilarious
Sorry, it's Bolton, it says so just up there. Sorry sorry, carry on don't mind me. That Dr Who with the Dalek asylum was good tho, wasn't it?
I bet its was some patchouli, a bit of weed, some roll ups and a lighter. Maybe a cassette tape of GONG! hidden in there as well.
Aww! Lovely kids from my homeland. They are from Yorkshire right? Which Castle Hill school is it? There are dozens! Much better than those awful caterwauling cockney kids Pink Floyd used. It's nice to have a happy pop song for the nippers to sing along with. Maybe you'll make it into school songbooks in the future. The ones at my old school were full of Lennon 'n' McCartney, stranger things have happened. You just need to re-arrange it for knackered music teacher and out-of-tune piano.
so as VONNEGUT fan I am a hippie??? lol
maybe we can help indeed please get in touch info cornershop com
And where does it say this is a children's song? Children sing ON the song, which happens to be for all people who have taste in music, lyrics, and wit. Sheesh!
:'D
If you're listening and NOT smiling, go see a cardiologist 'cos it's odds-on you've got no heart.
Off what album ?
