Great job guys. As an alum of CUGC it make me very proud to see Cornell do so well in an international competition(of course I'm biased ,lol) Glad you did Biebl, it might as well be the CUGC song. Woody Sipprell '72

The University of Michigan Men's Glee Club was the first American and non-European choir to win the gold medal at Llangollen. Michigan has won the gold medal 4 times. However, the glee club hasn't travelled to Wales in years. Congratulations to Cornell for placing 2nd. It's a prestigious international music competition. Before he became famous , the late Luciano Pavarotti and his choir from Modena, Italy won the gold medal at Llangollen as well.

I think Michigan has won the male choir competition at Llangollen more than any other American college men's choir. Not many collegiate choirs from the U.S. compete at Llangollen these days. Cornell has to be one of the very few.

Where is Blue Skies, my favorite Cornell song on the McGraw Tower chimes, high above Cayuga's Waters!
