PS1 or low poly is actually is both an art style and performance optimization, PS1 or low polys has few polys so fewer draw calls, thus one of the ways to make smoother games. Look up "PS1 blender" and you'll see art guides how to make them

Nah it was toxic with all the AP ratios. Literally an artillery mage for no reason. The idea behind Corki is that he's supposed to be a spell-casting ADC, not a mage like Xerath. You can't deny how uninteractive it is to play against Malignance Muramana Corki who just spams ult from a far and uses W as escape

It is shittiest rework ever. They took away the one thing that makes him unique and turned him into a 2009 champion again.

@@thejedisonic67 I think they were referring to the magic damage. What made corki unique is that he dealt mixed damage and has always been difficult to itemize against. Also he could build both ad and ap items at times.

All of his abilities exclusively does magic damage (except the shred one) and his basic attacks convert 80% to magic damage which still exclusively scales with AD. Which means all you need to do is build MR. Corki item builds are limited because he does not benefit from lethality, and his abilities scale better with AD rather then AP so if he wants to build magic pen he has to get a basically useless AP stat with it. He was just too gimmicky. If his AA scaled of AP and his abilities scaled better with AP then by all means an AP Marksman is pretty unique and cool but that was not the case

Aw, I liked his old passive. The rocket was quite nice when catching up into teamfights. You'd respawn, take a rocket then quickly go to the fight than u would just use your enhanced dash to deal a large amount of dmg without having any cd on the next dash. Quickly shredding everyone down and killing them

​@walidkhemakhem3639, his old passive was a plain flat 10% true damage on auto attack that didn't work with sheen. Now it is 15% that also works with sheen and further increases with crit. It's much better now for crit builds. Essence reaver will be a first item for him now.

I think Corki was sometimes a better malp and always a better taliyah(except CC), cause corki can play xerath mode if nothing else, while having W for escape. While having Muramana &/or Essence Reaver for mana sustain. "Package" corki had everything except survivability and the pure DPS of a hyper carry like vayne

So now hes just ad (and with no more lethal tempo, maybe adc)

He didn't used to. This is old Corki. Passive dealing some true damage on AA was original passive. His E used to deal Physical damage only. The only difference here is they added a Crit damage modifier on the True damage on passive. E still shreds Magic Resist, which it didn't used to. And his Ult always dealt Magic damage, while it does physical now, plus the AA reduces CD is new. This is a revert with tweeks. I'm gonna like this one. Been missing him in the bot lane. Graves Revert when?

@@samuelt8825 well ofc he built sorcs before? guy is like almost full magic dmg. 80% of his aa dmg was magical, q was magical, w was and still is, E is hybrid and ult is again magic. why would u not go sorcs?? corki just went sorcs, sometimes ludens for mana and flat pen, sometimes a void staff purely for pen. pen for the type of dmg he has, which is magical. hes always built AD tho. thats kinda been his thing. built AD, do magic dmg. and yeah, they are making him, AD, and removing all this magic bs, making him not go sorc boots. is this an issue for u? that corki is now gonna do physical dmg? his built isnt gonna change all that much aside from not builing magic pen.

i used to play corki in season 12 and i remember playing him just cuase of the package they removed it and now his just standard adc with no lore or uniqness 0 /10 rework

When I used to play him I thought a nice change rould be: Change his Q to be his old R and his R beocome like Karma's R empowering of one of his abilities. The Q could serve as a mini-nuke if you wanted the damage, the W be his package empowered without the slow and less damage and for his E to slow with more damage. So his different scaling could be something like choosing AD to poke with Q, att speed and haste for a mobile kiting machine with W, AP for the utility side of his kit (slow and armor/mr shredding).

i'm sad for the package, but it must be done, since riot could never buff him before competitive would took over and break him again, now that is freed from his curse it might find his place in the meta without dominate it. damn I miss the package already. however I cannot forgive them for giving this champion true dmg again, and kill of his weird build paths that made him so fun to play.

Always felt like they were close with the Rework, just missed out on the promise of it. Corki's framework as the 'magic damage' AD carry saw him getting supplanted really badly by newer and more functional marksmen, even as they bought AP items. The design pattern for Marksman is pretty obvious to me at this point; they either need a target-stacking debuff or a personal stacking passive to indicate their weapon's function. All marksman basically fall into these two categories. MF, Varus, Vayne, Kai'sa, and Ashe all have target-specific debuffs they apply with their attacks. Draven, Graves, Jhin, and Caitlyn have a self-stacking buff that they build up with auto attacks. Autos are the whole point of the champion, and for a lot of them, that means their weapons. Corki makes sense as a champ that has an ammo system, but I would just nix his mana altogether. There's no real reason for it in modern League. I think Corki as a champ with 4 basic abilities and "Big Ones" as empowered versions for his ultimte is a lot of fun. And the idea of Special Delivery could just be that Corki periodically picks up an enhanced version of one of his abilities. Basically, Special Munitions. But enhance all of them.

If it were up to me, and let's be glad it's not, I'd rework his Q so that it worked like Old Urgot Q and applies a Target Lock debuff to his targets which caused his Rockets to home in on them and his gattling gun to auto-track them, but fire in a narrower cone. So basically, Passive: Remove Mana, now all his abilities use Ammo. Every 3rd ammo is empowered. At Level 6, he starts getting periodic Special Deliveries, allowing him to temporarily convert one basic ability he chooses into an Ultimate. At Level 11, Special Deliveries start dropping in lanes. At Level 16, they drop more frequently. Q - Bomb a target Area, revealing enemies. Empowered Q: Target Lock enemies. Special Delivery Ultimate Q: More Damage and Area. W - Dash, dropping bombs. Empowered W: Can Recast Dash. Special Delivery Ultimate W: Longer Dash, Longer Burn, Slows. E - Passive True Damage on Target-Locked Enemies. Active, long narrow cone in front of him, hits first target and disables basic attacks, will auto aim at Target-Locked Enemies near the cursor. Empowered Active, +Shred and Fire Rate. Special Delivery Ultimate E: Range increase, now punches through first target hit and deal damage to all enemies. R - Fire a Missile that Tracks Target-Locked enemies near Cursor. Empowered R: Fire a bigger missile. Special Delivery Ultimate R: Fires additional missiles in a spread (will still track Target-Locked enemies near the cursor)

I am not a champions designer so my idea would probably be unbalanced but... It could be fun if his W dash speed went up and its length extended by the initial cast range on every time corki would pass through enemy (or even ally) champions, similar to sera ult. Imo it would be cool and in tfs it would had a similar vibe as his packages on current passive.

They gave Corki his old passive back. He used to do 10% true damages, instead of the new 15%, WAAAAY back in the days. I used to play Corki quite a bit in S2 and 3 and when I picked him back up, 2-3 years ago, I was surprised to see that his true damage was gone.

I'm quite glad they gave him the rework (or rather, closer to a revert, but whatever). Whilst the Package was unique and neat, it was ultimately one of those abilities the shapes the entire game around it and became its own balancing nightmare. Him dealing 80% Magic damage converted from AD was also a good removal, it was not intuitive for newer players to really understand without total champion knowledge that by building armor against a champion clearly building a bunch of AD that they were actually building incorrectly in this niche case - which honestly so many players could make the mistake of even outside of newer players just because of how infrequently he gets played at all.

Idk how good this is gonna be with the er change that’s inc…. If that doesn’t give enough mana, dudes gonna be rocking those wack ass tear Triforce builds
