Corjl vs Templett - Which One is Better For YOU?
I originally created this video in 2020 and there have been some changes to both platforms since it was created. Creating editable invitations doesn't have to be difficult. Using either Corjl or Templett for your editable invitations and flyers is a great way to earn a passive income on Etsy! Check out the differences today!

Hey thanks for the video I currently use Canva and have found that to be rather easy to use but thinking of moving to templett or to corjl and was wondering if they have preset templates that are already in the system I’m not sure that in the video you talked about that is it very similar to that of Canva and then what exactly are the fees per item so is it to give customers the opportunity to use those programs to make their changes. Thank you

Amazing video!! I learned so much vital info and I am wanting to use Corjl to do wedding/bachelorette niche related Editable Printables. I am wanting to create templates like signature bar drink menus, and itineraries for a Bach trip to vegas for example with fun watercolor clip art. From what i'm seeing other shops have created how are they getting this clipart? Example an etsy shop I like called: "Creative Union Design". Any insight is much appreciated. Thank you so much

If I had to take a guess most use Creative Market BUT the biggest thing is understanding the terms of use and how these items can be used. It's a pretty loaded question depending on where you're getting your graphics from does that make sense?

thanks for video, I believe cons for templett you can not add your design and edit it, but you are able to that on corjl

And with Corjl you can go in and assist the customer unlike the others

I just checked out Corjl. On the lowest priced account, they want a 65 cent fee even after making the sale on Etsy. On top of paying a monthly fee? That will be a "NOPE" for me. But thank you for this informative video.

Im currently using Templett, i only have a handful of designs so far but i just get a bad feeling. It feels like something that was made in 2005 and has not been updated since. It looks and feels dated and clunky at times, im just not sure if i should check out Corjl. Sometimes i wonder if its a one man band, why is there only one customer support person?? Its also almost impossible to find people on YT who use Templett and show things more technical than making your text larger. Im a little worried as i dont want to get invested in this platform and it turn out a dud. And like you said... still no mobile/tablet support! Would you say Etsy priorities Templett designs over Corjl?

I don't think they favor one over the other. Check out Jet template (I have a review video on that too) seems more legit

Graphic designer here! Canva is not good for printing unless you go directly through their print service. There is a work around but it requires canva pro which some customers may not have. Corjl and Templett are free to the customer and produce a high quality print every time wether they print at home or take it to a third party printer.

Well these programs have direct interface with Etsy Shopify or WooCommerce where as with Canva you have to create a PDF with the link to the template. One extra step but that's ok. I'll be posting the Canva video next week so you can see the difference

I love Canva, but I am concerned about my designs being stolen. Anyone with the link to your design can access it. Also, Canva wants to bring customers back to their website, whereas as software like Corjl, Templett, Jet Template, is intended to bring customers back to you. These programs also watermark your demos to protect them. Another great thing is that you can log in to your customer's order to help them. Lastly, free Canva users cannot use premium graphics, fonts, so you have to be careful not to use any in your designs. Just my two cents.
