You think that in some way Snow sympathized with Peeta. Because Katnis didn't love Peeta as he thought Lucy Gray didn't love him.

His story is honesty sad. At the beginning, he just wanted to better his family situation and the money to take care of them. He meet Lucy Gray and he knew the truth that she didn’t have a choice in the Hunger Games, she deserved to live no matter what it took. However the change in him occurred when he had no other option to help get Seamus out of the arena. His core changed when Snow entered the arena, killing that boy. He felt how and why the Games needed to keep going, to remain the Victor. He risked everything to save Lucy Gray’s life which in turn lead to his family being evicted and he used his last bit of money to go to 12 to make sure his efforts to save Lucy Gray were not in vain. He nearly lost when he got discovered in cheating to save Lucy Gray’s life, he wasn’t going to lose again. He was forever going to remain the Victor in every aspect of his life, whatever it took for him to do so even in betraying Seamus, lying to Lucy, all of it. It does honesty suck because he was a good person at the start but the Hunger Games changed him. Well done video. Thanks for uploading.

Always a terrible person just read the books

I think the saddest part was the fact he betrayed his best friend and then regretted it. That to me is way more sad than a breakup with a girl. That really solidified his dark path to power and dictatorship not Lucy gray

Yeah, because he made choices that landed his friend in a noose, while he was just born into a system where Lucy was thrown into the arena and he did try to help her. Snow lost himself.

If you read the book, he moreso was grieving the idea of getting caught rather than his “friend”. He honestly looked down on him
