Great resto,PB.This is a model of a rare (ln real life) Corvette C2 split window.Corgi did a good job with this casting,only the later yellow 'custom car' was bad!.

Thank you Terry! I started preparing a history of the casting bit for this video, but with all the other nonsense it was dragging on a bit so I left it out, but yeah the yellow one is an acquired taste, and when it went to whizzwheels it really was downhill from there for Corgi for me.

Completely coincidentally, started a Dinky 1/64 '63 Corvette on Wednesday. Also coincidentally I decided on finishing it in red. In a very bad way. The paint is taking a while to set too - the red I have in takes ages to go off. I need to be patient otherwise I will get fingerprints in it 🤦‍♂️ Great work on this. Love the finished article.

Adam, I've started getting comments saying how good the sound effects are in videos where I didn't do any of them. It's not just AI blurring the lines between what's real and what isn't, it's me too apparently. Thank you!

Bleach and even Dettol will also strip chrome plating.

Hi Tony, thank you, I used to use bleach too but I find the oven cleaner rinses off easier but fume wise they're as bad as each other, but they're both better than the brake fluid I started out using😆 . How long does Dettol take? I tried it once but didn't have much luck with it.

Another excellent production and resto from the PB shed. Love the colour and smooth finish 🚗 and crisp repro box. Hope you are none the worse for your back to the future experience. Great job Pete ! 👍 cheers to Mrs PB and when will Farby the wonder cat 🐈 make an appearance ? 👀

Thank You Paul. I will pass your thoughts on to Mrs. PB and Lord Farbington. He'd be in all my videos but his demands creative control over his image, not to mention the financial demands, precludes it.

Really funny episode spaceboy, lol. PB from 2020 not as nice as U. Good to see my hero Captain Australia back on the small screen. I hope the Yobo left the money on the fridge for those beers. He was quite noisy at night with those cans rattling around, look like he does not give 2 F about Ur Neighbours lol. My favourite line from Mrs PB was 'oh boy' . I think I saw on Denny's diecast disasters he used one tablespoon of caustic soda in a jar and dipped the chrome parts in and the chrome came off but don't blame me if they melts or something. Thank you Graham. I think 2020 PB was just surprised to see himself from the future and he was right to be angry when I didn't have the lotto numbers for him. My neighbors LOVE Captain Australia. I wouldn't put plastic anywhere near caustic soda, and it's probably worse health wise than oven cleaner. I'm not sure. I'll get the Captain to huff both this weekend and see which damages his brain more, although it might be tough to notice the difference.

😂🤣😂🤣 Truly remarkable, PB. If I hadn't just witnessed that with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻🦘 I think I need to go back to bed for an hour or so to recover now..... That's a lovely restoration and proof that if you can improvise and adapt, you can overcome. I really wish that I'd had time in my hectic life schedule to be able to join in but there was less chance of an Afghan cricket team reaching the T20 semi finals 😖 I've had a nice, simple one on the go (for Andrew's Canada Day show) for bl**dy yonks but that's gone all runny and is going to run down to the wire 😬 It just hasn't been my day, my week, my month, or even my year..... as the song goes. Hopefully, next year! Anyhoo......... BRILLIANT! 👋🏻
