I've been collecting Corgi all my life.. I had them as a child in the 1960's and in the last thirty years as an adult I've amassed a collection of about 250 + all from the 1960's pre wizz wheels era. I am now also a subscriber to the Corgi Model Club and have to say I am very impressed with the quality of their modern reproductions. I feel like I'm Ten years old again as I wait each month for the next new release to be delivered.

These CMC reissues are absolutely superb… far better quality than the current Corgi range imo!

A Jolly good show this is too! Nice to see both the forth coming Safari Beetle and the Chevrolet Taxi included in the pack!

Is the Corgi Model Club Aston Martin DB5 better quality than the current DB5 from Corgi?

@@kaywalker4433 That's a pity. Recently bought the Corgi one from a toy shop (£35) and was disappointed by the way the gadgets worked, especially the rear screen and the ejector seat. Never mind...

@@hywodnsu C.M.C. DB5 is as close to the original as you will get, really nice, you can still get one from C.M.C

We think so. In fact, we KNOW so! Ours is an accurate replica. The Hornby one is a hybrid of 261 and 270. A bit odd really.

@@CorgiModelClub Hi, thanks for replying. I thought they would be the same model, seems I should have bought one from the CMC. By the way, do you know why, when I sign up to the CMC on the website, nothing ever happens. Never any response/reply/info by way of email.
