I agree! I only wish he had the same passion for the music he writes himself. I mean, the guys been at this music thing for over 2 decades and he still has the lyrical abilities of an 8th grader tryin to impress a girl. Again, 2 decades to get better at guitar and still can't play thru 3 chords without staring at his chord hand, palmuting when he shouldn't, messing up progressions and timing. He lurches over his "angels" and jumps asses and demeans his mates for messing up, however, comedically sad as it is, those angels are better musicians than him most of their shows. I hate to exude such heavy relegation towards this man but he started singing at 3 and wrote his first song by 1994. If you had 30 years to get good at something would you accept this level of quality from yourself 30 years later? Would you feel confident in your fans describing your hard work as "not caring what others think," and "believing in yourself?" 🤣 That's the equivalent of "Bless your heart," when referring to someone's hard earned talent! Thing is, he doesn't care enough about his skillset to sharpen that knife. He's only pretending because he's going broke and has become irrelevant. Anyways, ya good for him he's totally not caring about how bad he is NOR how good he could've been.. cool

It's cool every now and then to do so. At some point you have to grow up and move on. Memories are called memories because they're not currently progressing your life forward. I cherish all too many memories from my past and what I wouldn't give to go back to some of them for just one day.. but if I leave my house everyday dressing like I did in 92, acting the way I did in 95, believing the things about the world that I did in 98 then I would only expect the rest of the world to walk off and leave me to the dumpsterfire I'd be willingly creating.
