In his "Machine Memories" project, Corentin delves deeper into the relationship between human and technology. For him, gleaning becomes a methodology, offering objects and sounds new spaces to inhabit. Inspired by sustainable approaches and the valorisation of resources, he uses scientific measuring equipment from the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS) in Strasbourg to create soundscapes soundscapes exploring electronic, ambient and noise genres through an experimental approach. By recording and digitising these sounds, he questions the memory of machines and their interactions. Maintenance becomes an act of preservation and transformation in his process, with each sound carefully nurtured and enriched. "Machine Memories embodies this duality, interweaving an aesthetic of recovery with a reflection on technological obsolescence.
