I love this channel! Actually clicked on this video because the man whose picture is in the thumbnail looks so much like my wife's grandfather "Paw Bridges", it’s uncanny. Well, I started watching and couldn't stop, nor did I want to stop. Fantastic documentary and I appreciate you posting this great work of these wonderful people who live and love what they do. One day, they may all be forced out (which would be an absolute shame), but their ways, voices, and amazing spirits will never be forgotten! From one North Carolinian who is trying to learn how much beauty and variety this great state has to offer, I say thank you to all the fine people who took part in making this film. It is sad outsiders have moved in and forcing the locals out. Things need to stay the traditional way.

That's the way it is for sure. They build big fancy houses and raise the property values until the locals can't afford to pay their taxes anymore. I have a great aunt and a few cousins left in Sea Level and when a few generations pass I guess my blood and family history will be gone from there.
