Core Food Forest Tools

As we are approaching either the Autumn or Spring (depending on what hemisphere you're in) so we thought we'd put another video out going through the different core tools we use for managing a managing a home or semi-commercial food forest as the main chop and drop season is coming. Following this video ( not counting last weeks video on appropriate technology yet to come later this week (thanks for the patience!)) we will feature a video on the chop and drop management needed for this season, Spring/Autumn, and why.
For now, hope you enjoy this one, get yourselves a machete (and a cut proof glove) and have some fun being an actively beneficial member of of nature!
Love,
The tree huggers! ;)

The Silky is nice, but What about a looper. That is one of the best and safe tools for pruning, all sizes of limbs up to 2-3 inches, and it comes in several sizes.

Not such a clean cut and you don't have a hand free to put the branch where you want it.

I really appreciated your informative video! Can you share the brand of your leather belt and machete sheath? Also, do you have any suggestions on where to purchase them in Australia? Thanks a lot.

The lather sheaths we made from scrap leather. Leather is expensive though. We have a whole video on machete prep and sheath making on one of our videos on the website.

Thanks. Which one of the two subscriptions do I need? I also try to find a leather belt with a pouch like the one on the video. Do you also make them yourself or can I purchase them?
