Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Do you need a drill or an impact driver? What's a right angle drill? Should you buy a hammer drill? If you are new to woodworking or even just new to working with tools I'll explain how they function differently so you can decide what works best for you. I just bought this cordless drill set off Amazon and thought it was a good time to test these drills out. Thanks for watching!

So my wife wants me to build stuff for her. That request automatically gives me permission to buy more tools, correct?

Apprentice electrician here: great video. I'm new to the whole being handy thing, so I appreciate videos like this lol.
I appreciate videos like this. I never had anyone to teach me this kind of stuff and the internet is a great resource. This was a great explanation and I learned a lot. I'd like to see more tutorial style videos like this from you.

That's actually sweet. I feel your pain I was working at a place called cone cranes and everyone just expected me to know how to backup a trailer and hook up a trailer and all this other stuff that most guys know how to do here in Oklahoma. But since my father wasn't around I never had anyone to teach me that. And it was a humbling experience learning that on the job. I'm glad you were able to find this video and learn a little bit.

@@kylehughes1619 dude anything you can imagine to type into the search bar you will most likely find a video on I’ve fixed so many things from refrigerators washers dryers vehicles construction stuff plumbing A/C units A/C thermostats the possibilities are endless Ive gotten so much confidence were before I never considered myself a fixit type of person but after watching videos I started going for it shit I’ve even bettered my outlook on life because of KZread improved my sex life found exercises to make your cock larger girl friend really enjoyed that seriously anything you can think of my girl friend and mom used to laugh at me like 10 yrs ago when they’d ask how did you learn to fix that aww you know You Tube! Cheers. And don’t feel bad backing a trailer up isn’t easy for anyone first few times but next time your asked to do a job you’ve never done or even need refreshing on take a quick bathroom break and check a video out so your not going at it blind without confidence and don’t be afraid to keep going back and rewatching the video if needed and hook the channel up with at least a 👍🏻 for there time making it.

Moms also need to learn this kind of stuff. I appreciate it! I learned a lot!
Best explanation of the differences I have ever seen/heard. Thank you very much!!
I just ordered same set today and it's my first power tool. Your video just explained me everything about them. Thank you!!
Love the video. Note that the slower speed on the drill will also increase the torque. This can be helpful in some situations. For instance I was drilling holes in studs/top plates to run wires in my new office. I was using some Irwin Speedbor bits and they needed the extra torque to get through the wood. The higher speed just didn't producte enough torque no matter how slow I drilled.
Ive only watched a few of your videos, but ive learned a lot! I recently started going to school for HVAC and got a apprenticeship job while still in school, all the different applications you show definitely help in the field. I never had anyone to show me these " basic skills " growing up and video's like yours help me not feel so foolish when the time comes to apply them!
Greatly explained! Thank you 🙏
Bro thank you for actually explaining this rather than saying , I use drills for home easy stuff , and impact drivers for hard tasks that require force . Like I truly appreciate this . I'll be real I never knew a drill had had a clutch , I did figure u would however adjust the numbers to the impact in whatever task you're drilling but you showing and explaining this made me realize , all I need is a very solid hammer drill . No need for a driver
Very much appreciate the instructional nature of your videos versus just the tool type reviews with speed/torque tests. Both type reviews are important, but once we get the tool and in this case having purchased the same M12 kit as you did, it's learning how and when to use it that's most important !
By far the best & easiest explanation of the different uses for these tools, excellent job.
Excellent video! I love how you simplified the 3 types of drills.
Finally, I know the difference. Super clear explanation that I have been looking for. Thanks. Great channel!
Thank you for breaking this down. Now I have a much better understanding of the different functions of my drills and can use them more effectively.
Please do more basic vids like this. This was really helpful!!
Great video! I am starting to build my home power tool collection and I will be following your videos and your videos alone! Thank you very much for the detailed information. 👌
I love your channel. Thank you for teaching a novice who is trying to learn more about tools!
Thanks for clearing that up,I just bought the Milwaukee set with 5 tools and I wasn't sure what to do with all of them. Great video
Fantastic video - very clear and to the point to explain the difference. Thank you!
Wow this video had the best explanation between their differences that I’ve seen and I was really looking for a second, really appreciate it so much.
Thank you so much for this video! Very informative and some good lessons to be learned. I love learning from guys like you: you've actually got experience using these tools and that gives me the confidence to use them as you've instructed. Thanks again!😘
A fantastic explanation there Sir for anyone interested in progressing to power tools... nice. I must admit, waaaaaay back in the day I remember my first time working near someone with an impact-driver and I thought they were stripping their screws... my uncle (one of the best 'chippies' ever) set me right and it was such a revelation I still remember it to this day. Thankyou for the clear vid and a trip down memory lane t'boot.🦉
This was incredibly helpful. Thank you.
Phew, thanks for clearing up the difference. Went to HD to buy a drill and came away with both drill and impact driver packaged together on sale. So asking myself why do I need 2 so had to do the research to learn the why, so thank you this was very helpful. Now to learn how to use them😁
THANK YOU!! I've looked everywhere for a standard answer to this question! Just what I needed!
I am new to your channel, but this is the best explanation of the types of drills and drivers that i have seen. great job!
I just received the Milwaukee M-12 Fuel, and I felt so intimidated until watching your video! I am going to save this, and refer to it....probably forever! Thank you so much!
I really appreciate this info. Thank you for the detailed explanations!
Thank you - great video for those of us who are still learning.
Use mine daily for work! Hardly use my M18 fuel stuff unless I need a big hole drilled out. Excellent set and tough as heck!
This is the exact video I was looking for when I hit search, and now I'm going back to Home depot to get the Hammer drill combo kit! Subbed and liked, thanks man
OMG! I have a notorious death grip when it comes to screwing/bolting, whatever. When the the drill stopped on the plastic magnet thing, I was so ridiculously in awe & excited. No more stripping screws or wallering out holes. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I bought that exact combo a couple of months ago, great tools! Thanks for explaining, as a Private pilot noticed your Nine Line shirt!
Super helpful and great demonstration of each of these! Thanks 👍
Very useful vid, jus got em and you answered all my questions. Thank you!
Thank you for this great video! Excellent explanation of the differences and functions of these various tools! I really learned something from your video!
Thank you!!! Finally a sensible and understandable explanation!!!
😮 I never knew you could close the chuck (nozzle in my world) around the bit by just holding it and powering it on. No wonder my husband was laughing at me when I was trying to use his drill. Lol I’m glad I can learn things on this channel just to impress my husband later. 😆
Very good explanation of the differences. Very helpful. Thank you. Joe
Thank you so much. I am a absolute beginner, and this video really helped me.
This is the best explanation for this question that I've seen. Thank you!
A lot of info I never knew thank you. Very very helpful
Learned something today, thank you!
Great Video! I saw you using these tools in the "Backyard Grill Cart" and I have been looking at getting the drill, and the impact Driver to replace my by now 20 year old craftsman set. Looks like I will be getting these Sooner, rather than later!
I love this!!! I have been using power for a long time and never knew their true operation. Thanks
Thank you. This helped very much. New to the whole hammer drill since I now live in a concrete house. thanks!!!
Great video man. Thank you, very helpful.
Man, this is an incredible video! You nailed it, 101%. Thanks for sharing.
Very well explained. Thank you Sir!😊
Very informative, thanks!

Excellent explanation and demonstration
Great video! Thank you!
I have to say thank u so much, because I bought a package with those two and have no idea the difference between them, and you shoot to the right point on my doubts, thank u so much . I live in Brasil and bought this two days ago in Walmart and back to Brasil yesterday and this video helped me to much tks a lot
Great video. Well done. Thanks!

Thank you, very helpful. Now I understand the difference.

I saw many many vids and only you sir explained it right I guess you really know your stuff 👌
Amazing 👏 clarifications. I want to buy both and hope to get a good deal on it.
Thanks so much teaching this. I saw your video on building string light whisky barrels planters and drove straight to Home Depot after I subscribed.

Great video clear and simple
Good video. Nice sound effects!
MAXMAN. THANK YOU FOR SHARING WONDERFUL PRODUCT PRESENTATION.
Thanks for sharing this🌟
Fantastic video, very informative 👏 Thank you so much 🌻 👍
Liked subscribed . Thank you for teaching us
Haxman, thank you so much for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience with the different drills. Honestly, I just became 62 years old and have used a regular drill for most of that time. I've heard of the different function types but never took the time out to truly investigate their usage. While I was able to complete most tasks, I now understand the benefits of utilizing the better and more effective tool for the tasks. ☝🏿💯 I am now confident that paying a little more now will reap significant benefits in the production of tasks moving forward into the future. 🤗
What a great video, thankyou
Ooooooh! thats how it works! (what my brain said over and over as I watched this video) I have watched so many other videos to understand my new tools and they all use 'man speak' and I never caught on. You explain it so clearly and logically! thank you!!
Thanks for this
Cool. I think the impact driver is also safer than a drill as it cannot bind up and twist on you, possibly causing injury. I also discovered that the diablo speed demon spade bits are so aggressive they easily jam, twisting the drill-but work perfectly with the impact driver.
Awesome! Thank you.
Good stuff. Thanks
Seen Old Ironside many times and worked in CTNY my dad was also stationed there where he met my mom
Just wanted to say great video, although I already know all of these things, great overview for someone new to using these tools!
Though I already knew the subject, still it was entertaining and well done.
Awsome vid. I've got that same exact set. I use the impact driver almost everyday at work and its awsome! The 4.0ah battery lasts all day. GREAT power/torque. The LED light comes in clutch. I could go on and on about all its perks. But once you pick up an M12 fuel you'll get the Milwaukee bug and want to drain your wallet and buy more and more tools lol.

Thanks! I’ve had the right angle drill for awhile but I’m really impressed with the power and build quality of this new set. I can’t wait to put them to use.
Thank you!
Great explanation 👌 now I know
Excellent video, I am just getting into the new generation of battery powered tools and your presentation is very helpful. I do wish though that you had spent time at the end talking about the particular drill an impact driver you were using, why you bought those, and their pros and cons.
Thanks for the video. I am looking at a impact driver. I have tried with a drill with self drilling screws and 2 in 5 is successful. I am attaching 1x4 to hardened metal in a garage. I am also considering trying the Milwaukee (I have a lot of Ryobi).
I recently bought a new Dewalt drill & driver combo. I thought it was interesting that on the drill, they specifically had in the instructions not to put the drill bit in by powering it on while holding the chuck as you did. They want you to manually turn the chuck with the drill powered off, until it ratchets a couple times. I had never seen this before.

My guess is it is a matter of safety. Far less risk of the chuck grabbing the bit and slicing your fingers if it isn't spinning while you have your hand wrapped around it. Also, you may have noticed when he was demonstrating, the bit ended up crooked in the chuck the first time. It's much easier to prevent that if you spin the collar manually. Basically just get the jaws close to the correct opening in the first place, then slide the bit in, then crank it tight the rest of the way.
good video !
Thanks allot man
Thank you.
Thank you
Thanks shedding light on the topic. Appeciated. Is the link you have in the description for the same machines you have in your video?
Damn this can drill through concrete without being in the hammer function? Impressive!
The first cordless power tool was unveiled by Black & Decker in . In the mid-1960s, Martin Marietta Corporation contracted with Black & Decker to design tools for NASA. The tool company developed a zero-impact wrench for the Gemini project that spun bolts in zero gravity without spinning the astronaut.
I absolutely adore you!
Thanks buddy you do as good a job explaining as the actual Milwaukee guys . #️⃣Milwaukee tools rock 🤘
Holy shit wow thanks for all the help things i never known
Thx man
