Husk 372xp 3.9 kWt , 82cs34 -3.4 kWt. Battery 5.0 AH. I think the battery did its job perfectly. If it is possible to use an 8-amp battery, the rated power of the saw will increase by 600 watts, and the maximum by 1000 watts. Therefore, greenworks will not be able to achieve maximum capabilities with such a battery. I used the data on the greenworks website in the section available battery options. great job, greetings from Russia. In the summer I will use greenworks v82 for longitudinal sawing of wood. Most interesting 😊

I have ordered an 8ah battery. In theory, if the motor draws 3.4kw, the battery shouldn't matter as long as it can provide more than that. The 5ah is 4kw and the 8ah is 4.6kw. But theory isn't always the same as practice, so we'll see how it goes.

Good morning. I'm looking at all your chainsaw reviews. But in France we don't have this Greenworks 82 CS34 model? I purchased the Greenworks GD80CS50 model.😀

That 372xp even seemed to be running a little rich too, could probably gain a good bit through a tune.. then do a muff mod and a woods port? Nah I'm sticking to my 550mk2 572xp 592xp 395xp saws.. at least they don't require lithium mined in horrific ways by 8yr olds and I can fix them myself

Everything has its own evil, I think you have to do what works best for you. I just picked up the 372xp, I haven't dialed it in yet, so you're probably right about the mixture.

The weight is a little further to the back because I use a bigger battery. My biggest gripe is that it will stall if you push it to hard, then you have to release the trigger and pull again. With the Husky, you feel it start to bog and you can just back off a bit. I'm actually going to try an even bigger battery to see if it takes care of that.

@@reusefull Nice. With a 22" lightweight tsumura it would be a good chunking saw for climbing in any areas with gas motor restrictions (or residential areas with Karens)

@mattfleming86 That makes sense. I definitely like the instant on/off. A buddy of mine says it would be good for when he's running his wood processor and he just needs to make a cut here or there.

that is, to obtain max. 3.4 kW of power requires a battery twice as large as this, that is, starting from approximately 6 kW. maybe I'm wrong. but I looked at a German blogger about the stihl msa 300 saw and came to the same conclusions

Not yet. I haven't been able to convince myself to come off the money that it will cost!! I try to find deals so I can sell the stuff after I test it and not take a huge loss.

I too have a lot of chainsaws: Makita, Milwaukee, Greenworks, thermal chainsaws: Stihl, Echo, Homelite, etc... I cut a lot of firewood because I have a lot of wood. I'm watching your test videos.@@reusefull

Pretty much! The 372xp was part of a trade for a rusty jeep commander. I did a quick little video about how facebook/craigslist deals go down around here. I was supposed to trade the jeep for a tractor, but the tractor was spanked.

the batterys will go bad then you will have a brick and a replacement batterys will cost more than a new saw

I hear what you're saying, but I fully committed. I have 3 chainsaws, 2 blowers, 2 weedwackers, a rototiller, a snowblower, a lawnmower, a pressure washer, a polesaw, a shopvac and a zero turn that all take the same battery. I have many batteries and only one has gone bad so far and it was still covered under warranty, so I got a new one for free.

I had a 28 volt milwaukee bandsaw years ago used it a lot the band saw was of high quality well made after a few years could not make 1 cut on a battery and had 3 of them a replacement battery was 120 bucks so I now had a brick so I got a corded band saw and just take a generator if I dont have power where I'm at corded tools will out last me maybe half my kids life. they will chang the design someday and batterys will not be available. Why don't they make an adapter you can slide in to the battery port with a cord so it will be useful for years after they stop making bartterys for it just my 2 cents

@mrscuba1693 some tools actually have that. I have a ryobi trimmer that takes a battery or a cord. The 28v milwaukee lineup kind of disappeared. I have a good number of 18v Fuel tools I've been pretty happy with including a bandsaw. I work in the field and we use very little for corded tools these days compared to 20 years ago, but it's a lot easier when it's someone else's money buying the new batteries.
