🧱 Cordillo Downs Woolshed Heritage Restoration.
The WDS Group were contacted to quote & supply Roundtower Natural Hydraulic Lime for the heritage restoration of Cordillo Downs Woolshed in South Australia.
Stonemason Niall Tonagh contacted us enquiring about Roundtower Natural Hydraulic lime to use in the restoration of the stonework along with stonemason Cameron Rae both from Scotland and applied their craft to restoring castles before moving to Australia.
The two men were enlisted to restore parts of the woolshed's crumbling stonework, and also to help the station managers and other workers replace the roof.

I worked on Cordillo Downs in mid 1970's. Started as Station Hand/Stockman. Was owned by Beltana Pastoral Co. Was a fantastic place to work. Roger Beckwith was the Manager. Awesome to see this (important) piece of History Restored.
