That's a bad boy you got.I appreciate your honesty.Besides daily driving the car what do you do with it. Also I have an 05 z51 base corvette. It has an A&A supercharger, borla exhaust and that's about it. It dyno at about 570 to the wheel. I'm a older car guy but I want some more horses. What do you think I should do to the car. You gotta go to who you trust to do the work and do it right. It doesn't matter if their cheapest or not. Plus they were close and you could easily stop by if you wanted. 6 days of work is fast.

Research the parts I got on my car and look up the prices😂 everything matches perfectly even got a couple discounts trust me they not the only shop I contacted all shops were around the same price 😂I also didn’t mention a lot of the mods just the major ones but live on brotha😂🔥

@@TucTownVonte Well for one, they could of done you a solid as a client and done the dyno for free. Saved you $2k there. They could of dropped it $5k at least, but they chose to nickle and dime you. I've built 2 of these, 1200 HP, Procharged for $35k. Fueling and everything. Anyhow, nice build, just don't like seeing these shops just rake you on the price. They have to eat, but you should be paying for a years worth of mortgage payments for something you lose once you sell that car. Just think of it like that. That's a $35k build. Not a $42k.

@@TucTownVonte Because you went down a price list. They jobbed you quite a few lines they could of just throw in at no charge. For one. Those dyno fees, gone. They could of thrown those in. Last Zl1 build I did, I got over 40 dyno tune runs. FOR FREE. I also spent $35k on the build.

41k for youri build alone and my CAR isnt even 41k😂 and i have a 2020 Scatpack. Thats insane. Hell of a build

pretty typical pricing for a top shop. Cordes has an excellent reputation. Parts are parts and I don't think I'd feel comfortable taking my car to a shop that charges much less than $145 an hour for labor. It was pretty humorous that it went from you don't drive the car much, to you drive it to they gym daily, to you do pulls in it every day to you build cars to drive not sit.

We have built plenty of 900 wheel lt4 cars. Our old shop zl1 is one of them and one of the fastest lt4 cars around. He wanted this route to be set up for future goals.

Not a complete drag car still have stock exhaust so not loud and still have 1LE suspension several people take my same setup to the road course and do great🔥 it’s simple heads cam and Magnuson 2650 cars amazing on trust me should definitely try it out‼️

@@Daintrain2120 yes and no with a lockout kit gives it a little softer launch but I’m not strictly drag racing I do roll race competitions as well plus this is my dream car so I’m keeping its street manners but tbh this car will surprise on the drag street it’s definitely surprising me so far

You could have got an Exorcist package by Hennessey for that cost.

Yeah I maintain the the car race the car take care of the car oh and I’ve also built 2 zl1s myself just got the money and didn’t want the down time from work to build it myself😂 let’s not forget all the hours I’ve worked in the navy and everywhere else to AFFORD for a shop to do it😂 but yeah tone I’ve done a lot of work on this car but the video wasn’t about me it was about the CORDES PORTION OF IT HENSE THE TITLE YOU CLICKED ON😂

After doing my car and adding up my mods, I don't see your prices as being too far off. It adds up fast. I spent over 5K just for my fuel system and I do my own labor. Having a built car isn't cheap and the supporting mods are definately part of the cost. Don't sweat the haters and enjoy your car.

@@TucTownVonte I hear you. I had my '19 ZO6 built by Vengeance Racing and it cost a lot, but done right with the best parts. Actually sending it back for more this spring. Swapping the ported blower out for the Magnuson 2650. Should be close to 1000whp when done.
