Hi Darryl I’ve had my TJ since new in 98 and i find the seats very comfortable I’ve sat in the drivers seat for up to eight hours straight without any aches or pains 🇦🇺

Maybe the seats in the early ones are better than the later versions?

I actually like a seat that sits higher, but if you aren't running a rear seat and don't need the fold forward functionality that weight saving is a real bonus.

I put a pair of these Corbeau Trailcats for my 04 TJ as well (after watching your install video). I went with the adaptor as well because I wanted the seats to still function like the OE ones. I AGREE! The seats with the adaptor sit up higher. It's a mixed bag, I have friends who have sat in my Jeep an they like the added height, but me, I'm not a fan of it as much. My head hits on the sunshade now and it's annoying. And I don't care for that lever in the back, looks like it would be hell if someone scrapped their foot against it in the back seat. Other than that, the Corbeau seats are the envy of my Jeep club. Thanks for the video. Cheers!

I installed the same seats, but with a cloth middle insert. Great seats when driving both on and off-road. Jealous of the heated option you have. I have to check and see if you have a video on that. You’re right about the Jeep engineer’s. What is up with their fascination with torx bolts?!!! Great video and your TJ looks really clean.

The one torx bolt is for security, so there’s a lesser chance of it being stolen.
