    Very interesting. I am taking CoQ10 supplement everyday for nearly an year and it was very useful for my health. I am 66 years old. I was diabetic and I have reversed my diabetic completely by doing intermittent fasting every day and taking supplements like ABCDE and CoQ10, PPQ etc.

    I have never understood mitochondria and electron chain so realistically. Thank you. After age 50, most humans cannot engender Q10 from lesser Qs, and must rely on external source/certain bacteria, which is how they synthesize Q10 supplement....70 yrs old UK trained physician.

    I’m So Grateful Brilliant Doctors like you take the time to thoroughly explain functionality and processes of vitamins,amino acids,enzymes,etc and how they can help fight illness or disease invading us. You are in the group of medical professionals that truly care for the lives of others to remedy or cure and not just to mask or manage. There’s no simple practice with how you practice medicine. Too many practice as simple as allowed never going further that what was learned in medical school or think outside the box. Thank You For Not Being in that category !!!!!

    I found Coq10 has diminished effects of my sinus bradycardia, I.e. head dizziness with seemingly low pulse rates. And fatigue,I discovered about Coq10 3 months ago, and decided to give it a try. 150mg a day or the first month ,and I was battling a recurring lung infection at the time. It seems coq10 didn't interact wih the doxycycline. I'm still going good . Then I found out one can take a second dose later in the day initially 150mg now dropped to 75mg. As the efficacy is greater for the lower doses than the 150mg. As I drive trucks from lunchtime til 9pm . My pulse rate is boosted by by 15bpm on average than before coq10 and the dizziness is markedly reduced ,but noticeable. My doctor(s) have never mentioned coq10. They don't know yet. I wonder if it will show up in my next pathology test??🎉 your thoughts?

So I tried it 5 days ago at 100mg per day and I felt very uncomfortable - dizziness and minor headache since then. Is it its side effects? Does it mean that CO Q10 is not suitable for me and I should stop taking it? I am from Hong Kong. Would like to have your advice please.

    Dr. Mobeen, Thank you for this video. You have a bad connection in your audio circuit. It cuts about three times an hour. I have many things to say. I have had heart surgery and I have been on lipitor. So my family doctor suggested Co-Q10 for fatigue. I took some 60mg ubiquinone. Maybe made me more tired. So I tried a 400mg ubiquinone. That put me back in the heart clinic. I got incredibly tired and my legs swelled up a lot. Much later my daughter gave me some ubiquinol. 100 mg. That was fabulous! Turns out ubiquinone is the dead battery of the co-q10 molecules whereas ubiquinol is the charged molecule. The ONLY people who should take ubiquinone are those people who DON'T need it. Certainly nobody over 40 should take ubiquinone. I agree with NIH on ubiquinone's uselessness. As in my case it could be harmful. We find Co-Q10 in many animal meats. But don't eat Rats! Theirs is Co-Q9. Some neurons prefer vitamin K2-4 over Co-Q10. I was on the road to dementia. My short term memory got really bad. Couldn't learn new music or remember what I just played from a book (I read music well). My wife got me some vitamin K2's for my broken leg to heal bone faster. I started with K2-7 but a month later I started the K2-4. Within a day my musical memory returned and the terrible fog in my head was gone. The fog was dead centered in my head approximately where the hippocampus is. Yes I could feel it!!! My wife tried the experiment 3 times on me and the K2-4 restored my short-term memory every time. I consulted Life Extension dot org. They told me they had a paper on that from 3 years before. I said I was going to tell everybody. Subsequent research published by NIH says that K2-4:is a fundamental brain nutrient (I had said that a year earlier cuz I was well familiar with its effects) supporting the maintenance of both white and grey matter. If we get it to our neurons before they die from hypoxia or lack of a functioning electron transport chain, some dementias can be reversed. So the timing is critical. Humans can make plenty of K2-4 from K1 cuz we have the genes to do it, but in diabetic patients with kidney weakness and radiation damage to certain organs from cancer treatment we don't make enough. And that is when dementia starts to set in. It is odd that in my professional work I got to investigate molecules for a place out on the UBC Campus in Vancouver. Back quite a few years before all this, I saw the Co-Q10 molecule schematic next to the one for the vitamin K2 family, I immediately wondered why they couldn't substitute for each other. That was a bit prophetic. Only K2-4 works that way for a Co-Q10 substitute. It seems that the electrical charge-carrying ability of the Co-Q and K2 families results from switching from an alcohol to a ketone, and back, in the heads of these molecules, but the location in the body where they work seems to be selected by the tails of these molecules. Incidentally I really enjoyed your video on vitamin K and covid-19 Also you mentioned blood thinners. Warfarin and coumadin are first-generation drugs. They work by stifling vitamin K recycling, effectively cutting down on its necessary carboxylating action. That's a really bad thing to do in my opinion. Much better to use a modern drug like rivaroxiban and it's friends. Warfarin and coumadin directly cause osteoporosis and atherosclerosis because they effectively limit the production of MGP. I saw what they did to my grandmother and so I refused to take those two drugs. And because vitamin K can promote blood clotting under some circumstances, taking any vitamin K supplements should be done in consultation with a qualified physician. My physician had a pretty wide grin when he heard about what K2-4 did for me.

    It is not fully verified. There are some studies that disagree that statins cause the reduction of the CoQ10. See the links in the description to these studies.

    Cardiologists prescribe statins very regularly. CoQ10 is diminished in some patients taking statins. CoQ10 needs to be replenished in these patients as CoQ10 is necessary for energy production in muscles including the heart. Low levels give those typical statin symptoms like muscle weakness and myalgia.

  • @DrBeenMedicalLectures

    @DrBeenMedicalLectures

    Many reasons. For example, it is suggested in studies that CoQ10 helps reduce the progress of heart failure by directly reducing antioxidant damage to it. It also helps with atherosclerosis, and finally they believe it can help with statins. However, the statin theory is not correct.

    I have experienced a strange phenomenon; for over 20 years now, at the first sign of a cold, like sniffles, sneezing, if I take 2 aspirins; the cold symptoms disappear and do not return; BUT, if I wait too long, like when the cold is well settled in me, this does not work; only works at the initial stage of the cold; is there any scientific explanation? others have tried this too with same results.

    Sometimes drugs help reduce the viral replication, entry, or inflammatory response. When this is done in the early part then the disease symptoms become less. However, after waiting for some days, viral load, and the immune response already has become large enough to create symptoms. In such cases milder medicines do not help enough.

    @@DrBeenMedicalLectures Can quinine enter the cell as easily as hydroxychloroquine and increase the Ph value inside the cell as easily as HCQ? Can quinine affect the cell membrane and ACE2 receptors like HCQ does (like you explained in your video with the title "A NEW [subpar] STUDY - Hydroxychloroquine Resulted in More Deaths" from 2:14 - 5:41)? I just realized I can get natural quinine in the supplements in my country, I thought it was all blocked. Perhaps it just can't do what HCQ does, or not as well, so they see no reason to block access to it (those profiting from corona). It's a bit expensive so I want to make sure it can do what HCQ does. Otherwise, I'm sticking with my quercetin zinc ionophore + the usual.
