The event of the bite occured around the time of the origanal pizzara being created ,the crying child may have saw blueprints of the original animatronics, which would explain his nightmares, in my conclusion we dont completely know WHEN the original pizzeria opened up so for all we know n.m foxy was the og (not related to game releases im talking about the timeline and this is just a theory)

Nightmare mangle and Nightmare balloon boy may have been seen by the crying child because we do know that the funtimes were made around the bite too, so a early design of funtime foxy may have been turned into nightmare mangle by the crying child due to fear, for balloon boy i do believe that maybe one of the four tormentors may have once took their mask off and chris saw their true face maybe being related to balloon boys, and the outfit may have been from a child he saw beforehand his death,
