If you’re new to my channel, my name is Ben Heath. How I got here…
17 yrs old: Started my first business selling wristbands with two school friends. I made $0.
18 yrs old: Started my first ecommerce business selling second hand video games. I made $0.
19 yrs old: Joined a network marketing company (would not recommend it). Was told I’d be rich if I signed up 8 people. I signed up 26 people in 3 months. I made $0.
21 yrs old: Dropped out of Bath University to start an app development company. I made less than $5,000 in 2 years!
23 yrs old: Started Heath Media, my marketing agency. I made $0 for the first 3 years.
26 yrs old: Went all in on building a personal brand within the marketing space. I passed $100k/year.
28 yrs old: My personal brand allowed me to attract the best talent in the world. Heath Media became an industry leading Meta ads agency, with an exceptional team and an excellent reputation. We crossed $1m/year.
31 yrs old: Today I teach over 800,000 business owners, marketers and entrepreneurs how to get insane results with digital marketing. Heath Media is a 50+ team of world class talent, working directly with over 400 clients every year. We’ve now crossed the $5m/year mark.

    As a brand new business owner, this channel is quickly becoming my favourite daily visit. One question - and perhaps an idea for a future video aimed at lots of people who might be in my position - how does one start a new ad campaign if you have no Pixel/dataset data to fall back on? My store is one month old and as it's brand new, it doesn't have a lot of traffic and just a couple of sales. Would it be wise to start an ad with a goal to grow traffic to try and generate some sales first, which I could use for a later "Sales" driven ad? Or is there a better way? Thanks Ben.     Perhaps I missed it but did you mention customer retention cost? Some of my small/new clients have low brand loyaly and have a proportionately high retention cost that would heavily impact the equation. Cheers 😊

    Yes I would say so, you can track donation amount instead of revenue

    how do you get the information on how many times someone purchases though? You just randomly said 6 but didn't explain how you'd find this information, is it through Shopify? Are there ways to calculate all of this through ads manager alone, if you don't have backend website access?

    You probably just have to find out on you're own, by tracking you clients data and seeing how many times they buy and you can make you're estimates from there untill you got a represantative number

    You have to estimate - best way it to probably ask other people in your industry. Then once you have data you can update it :)

    Damn bro, I'm super depressed because of my Facebook ads sudden and CRAZY decrease in performance. Lately, every campaign only "performs" the first few hours (and by that I mean they only get a few link clicks, sadly not even likes or post saves) and that's it, then, only the "amount spent" go up! Plus, I get a TON of messages from phishers pretending to be Meta and threaten to close my page. It's like my ads aren't shown to real people. What's your advice please? 🙏 (btw my ads used to generate results, I'm not terrible at making ads).

    Good question, it’s lifetime customer value, so it factors in the whole time a customer buys from you. Could be many years
