Cops show up for all BS calls without vetting. Karen apologetic after.
On this day I had some time to burn until my second shift of work started so I decided to park legally and watch at a movie on my phone. Shortly after, a cop showed up and said the famous words "WE GOT A CALL". He claimant someone called about a parked car idling for a prolonged period. My car was not idling. The cop admitted that he observed my vehicle parked there while on patrol and did not approach because I was legally parked. Had I had my car idling he would have observed and verified what the caller said. I was somewhat irritated because people continue to waste police resources on the dumbest shit taking their attention away from real crimes that area getting committed. Karen attempted damage control after and approached the same suspicious car she reported to make things right. See for yourself.
With that being said I personally believe the cop had good intentions when he made contact but when he tried to lie about my car parking illegally on the side of the street it showed me that no matter if it is a good cop or bad one, they all have to lie at least once to see if you know the law.

If NJ cops are allowed to leave their cars idling 12hrs a day, so are citizens.

A crime the police commit everyday 😂
Cops job is to fish for a possible arrest. That means a bonus and promotion.
They can't stand to just leave people alone.
"911, what's your emergency?" "Eh, yeah, I just saw a guy walking down the street...he was wearing a hat!" "OK Ma'am, units are en route, stay on the line with me till the police arrive to deal with the situation OK?" WTAF is wrong with the public and the police??

@@freds.9407, a public easement becomes a public easement at that point? Rewrite your comment so that it makes sense. But you must realize that the simple placement of a utility pole at a certain location does NOT automatically make that location a public easement. Private companies with large campuses are just one example of this. They often have utility poles on their property leading to their buildings. Don't try to debate me about this.
The endless repetition of “you’re idling” is an implication. Yes he was making implications. IQ of 2.
It's best to STFU when confronted by cops like this. The more you talk to them the more chances they have to find an excuse to arrest you.

"You're calling a person with a gun" EXACTLY!!
You approach a man legally sitting in his car on a public road....when police are called out...they pretend to not be profiling.
That's nice. People talking civilly, learning everyone is not a threat and parting with smiles on their faces.
Police- you are not there to quell people's suspicion, fears, offendedness, or paranoia. It is up to you to further investigate the caller and the EXACT reason they called. If nothing illegal is being observed, it is your responsibility to inform them of NO LAWS BEING BROKEN. Do not bother people who are not committing crimes.

You're never going to get a logical discussion out of a cop.
I am surprised more people don't call the police to report people walking out of grocery stores with paper bags and people walking out of barber shops with fresh haircuts. It is the only way that they could find the limits of police stupidity in bothering people for no reason.
Never talk to cops they only out to throw you in a cell n collect their bonus for the arrest

Why even talk to the Karen? Why even talk to the cop. Don't have to. Myte’s Law: As a conversation grows longer between a private citizen exercising his Rights lawfully and the local police force looking to violate those Rights, the probability of those officers using the excuse of Terrorism to justify the attempt (or success) at violating those Rights increases exponentially.

What a beautiful ending to that “incident”. Great job sir! People like you out there educating Law Enforcement and the community by practical example are unsung hero’s of Freedom in modern America! The contributions made by the ripple effect created by you bringing these rights to the consciousness of law enforcement and the general public cannot be overestimated!
ALWAYS SHARING ON TRUTH SOCIAL MEDIA GOD BLESS YOU ❤❤❤
I hate it when people say, "There's bad people in all professions.". Although this is entirely true, all professions aren't carrying guns with the power to terminate a life. Cops should be the most scrutinized and highly trained in the nation.
What is it like sitting on a power line - bit like tightrope walking except in your car!! 😂😂😂 that ultility pole - no the one up your jackarse!! Seriously these cops are pathetic & need to learn to say NO to karen's & darren's and all of their silly inane fears of bogeymen.
He is insinuating, because he is questioning you, although you're not breaking the law. If you're not insinuating, then quit questioning people who are NOT expected of committing a crime, it's that simple road pirate.
Idiot cop looking up at utility lines. If it were to his advantage, he'd say officer safety is very important. Meanwhile he totally lets his guard down.
By the end of this interaction the lady was tryna give him some! 😂😂
Bro, you handled that like a boss. Much respect❤
GREAT WORK BRO 💯
It was nice that lady actually talked to you & thought about what you said. Specifically calling people with guns and escalatory police.
lol, the entire public utility line conversation went right over his head.
it's not what you say it's how you feel.
You are a good man and i wish we had more people like you.thank you for what you do and be safe out there
I'm gonna say she knew " he " called 😂😂😂😂😂
Find this women and if she looks at you. Call the cops.
A needless confrontation to establish the open-ended stupidity of the officer.
I really respect that guys approach to speak with the lady. Stop assuming everyone is out to get you, if you let fear rule your life the cost will by much higher. I mean she's not getting it at all though, "sides", "i don't have to feel so bad, because it happens often" smh
People have the delusion that law enforcement can protect them……but they can’t. It is up to each person to protect themselves.
This is part of the problem, not just the cops... ignorant citizens are making things worse by calling. Don't invite police into your life.
As usual, we have another public servant who is belittling and verbally tongue-lashing a private citizen. Their policy says to address the public in a "Friendly & Courteous Manner". Gestapo!!
“I’m sorry you feel that way.” Typical gaslighting 🐖

Get that cop some waders and a tackle box. 😂
I would be so curious to hear the 911 call. I would bet race was asked by dispatch or told by the caller, which either way makes the cop a liar.
She can apologise until the cows come home , she put that man in grave danger calling the cops
Yup they called about a blk man in a white car. I would have told her to tell her husband, not to step on anyone toes and he wouldn't have to spend his life in fear, if that's what is going on there. Tell Karen to get a job
During the entire conversation I didn't hear the cop mention one illegal action the man engaged in. All I heard was a bunch of copsplaining.
This cop just can’t let it go. What a clown. Eliminate qualified immunity.
The grin when he lied about colour This tyrant will argue everything
I'm the "idling too long" Police.....😉
"Someone said"
Phone and power lines are often run over private property, particularly in rural areas. The power right of way can be separate from the public right of way.
Wait a min. Can someone please educate me on this. You’re not allowed to have your car idle for more than 3mins in NJ???
View from Europe: Cops, Karens or Kens - don't engage in conversation, cops will always try to escalate, this one despite trying to appear "fair" still tried to id LAC - fishing for anything or at least adding your name to their database for future use - "suspicious person" etc. How many times have we seen situations like this escalate further, resulting in beatings, arrests and even loss of life, with Qualified Immunity protecting the perpetrators. As for the Karen or Ken - you don't owe them any explanation or apology for existing.
I really don't think "Karen" was really all that sorry
Should just ignored him
2:43 "Do you mind if I ask what you're doing in the area?" YES... Yes, I mind very much!!! What am I doing in the area? Everything I'm legally allowed to do without fear of reprisal from idoits carrying guns.
To hell with "Dana"
But yet the pirate is still there asking for ID trying to come off as he's a good person bull____
With reference to our previous comment- Why not simply place them under notification that they may accompany you whilst you confront your accuser ((whom-so-ever made the phone-call?)
Cop on the defensive in a big way.
bruh this cops conversation skills are trash and you can tell hes scared of being accused of the stop as if he was the one accused of just coming up when the guy even said the caller not the cop lol

Abolish qualified immunity just like New Mexico
One question. Do we actually want cops to pick and choose what calls to answer?
@ypotusoa
3 ай бұрын
@paullooez6620 of course we do! We want them to choose to answer the calls of crimes being afoot and not the ones of crimes not being afoot. Guess what in cities like mine (Dallas) they already do. They will literally tell you that they won’t be coming out for your call if it’s not an emergency. They’ll direct you to the online reporting website.
Why don't they talk to RP first?
Just don't talk, period
The policeman wasn't the worst. But he could have just left when he learned the guy was legal.
He did insinuate you idling, Which is illegal in some parts of the country
Lik A Baus 😎😎😎 Salute My Guy !!!
Could the COP be more passive-aggressive or condescending, and repetitive
The officer appears on his wife Janie’s KZread channel which has some funny shorts.
