Best comment, should be pinned, great idea to avoid this. Either a walk way or permanent and better escort from police, the escort solution, requires more resources than a walk-way. Love from Portugal, Ben. I absolutely love UK, specially, London. Best wishes.

The long line of young military men in suits was quite astonishing. They had to be in very good shape - look at how professional they were all dressed. I don't mean to single out a specific group of people, but there is a certain religious segment of the world that seems to enjoy antagonizing and disrespecting the King's Guards. We saw it here. There are complete videos showing large groups of this religious segment displaying over the top mocking, ridiculing and open displays of disrespect right in front of the Guards, and at their faces. They needed to be moved along. Here we see the mostly children imitating the military. Truly concerning. Thank you for your video

Taking the mickey out of the Guards is not a new thing, it may not be right, but it has always happened. The difference now is that so many people who do it are doing it for their social media account. I served in a Guards Regiment the 80's, plenty of people took the mick, my father in law was in the Guards in the 50's and he saws the same behavior, then just like now, you just ignore them. They soon get bored if they get no response. Of course in those days there were few coppers around and no mobile phones, so if your took offence you could give the offender a dig, with little chance of getting caught.

Watching towards the end of the video and seeing the band of the Welsh Guards, I was surprised to see one of the guards being so small. I always thought the guards had to be of a certain height, at least 5ft 9 inches.

I visited Buckingham in 1969. There were far fewer tourists then. I could photograph unobstructed. The exterior of the Palace was considerably grimier. From Boston, MA USA 2024

I presume you mean feral? As far as know pretending to march like a soldier isn’t against the law. I worked at the Palace in Royalty Protection for over 2 years in the mid eighties and people, especially children, did it all the time. I didn’t see any disrespectful behaviour in that video.

Please enlighten me. I'm Norwegian and I don't understand what "pee take" is. I know what it means "to take a pee" but nor what a "pee take" is. I watched the the vid. here, but confess, I have no idea what it is all about. Oh, I saw those idiots, even a father with a baby making fun of the guardsmen, but other than that I have no idea what this " the cops not happy with his disrespectful behaviour " is. And what is this wooded thing at one of the gates". PLEASE
