I didn’t understand until I was older how dangerous it was just to be in them projects.! My uncles stayed there permanently one in building 1340 and the other 1230. Little did I know during the 90’s there was a war going on there during the time I spent most of my childhood there

@@BasicName02 “when you keep..”. You mean when you don’t work when you’ve been given subsidized housing, free food and healthcare, and you wind up buying drugs, chains, rims, you know, living the ghetto fabulous life… So what you’re actually saying is we need to get rid of those things. I’m pretty sure low IQ coupled with bad financial CHOICES leads to poverty and thus crime. This is why we want reparations, because we’d get it all back in no time and they’ll be right back where they started. You can’t help someone that won’t help themselves. It’s all ‘boo hoo you owe me because your skin color matches someone several hundred years ago that did something wrong to someone that matches my skin color’. And to think we have libraries, free public education, and public assistance. It seems the only thing missing was a mile of chain and an auctioneer..

@BasicName02 No. It's been proven crime creates poverty. Businesses pack up and leave (sound familiar?) And no one with any sense wants to invest in crime infested neighborhoods. Except the government. But they just take it from the successful to give it to the failures. Billions have been invested in those neighborhoods. But people want to be gangster. And then every decade or so for 60 years, dummies burn sh*t down cause they stoopid.

Bad culture creates crime. Being poor is no excuse to be a POS. In the projects we are so immersed in that culture we put blinders to any other way, we take on the victim mentality and blame others instead of ourselves. Some of us wise up and get our head straight. If we be mad at anyone it needs to be the liberals and neomarxists who targeted us and we allowed them to trick us. We can refer to the works of Thomas Sowell, Manning Johnson, Walter Williams, etc, etc.
