I used to ride those trails back in 2000-2010 we made it from Copper Harbor to Conover Wi on one back pack trip. The snow up in Houghton area was always deep! Thanks for sharing

Great ride man. Thanks for bringing us along. I was driving around the Island for work today and there were so many sleds out on the trails. Maybe next winter I'll finally get a sled sled. Just looks so fun.

I went snowmobiling in St Germain over the weekend, my truck wouldn’t start for an entire day. Took 3 different jump boxes, starter went out so that had to be replaced in the hotel parking lot in -30 and then some ether to get her started. My new rule is no snowmobiling below 0 cuz my truck hates it

I officially put on my bucket list that I'm going to have to take a trip one winter to go to the other end of the world and ride sleds with the one and only Swanky Cat 😺! Lol Would be a blast.

Nice! I think you've got me beat, hard to say though... my gauge has ice over the odometer since it's so darn cold out haha

It's always good riding up there. We only made it to Houghton this year while we were up there. Glad you're clutch is running cooler.

@@SwankyCatProductions we were up there the last week in January. Trails weren't great but we're better then he at home in western Wisconsin for sure. My buddy had a run of bad luck and had his two sleds blow up, not sure the reason cause both were running fine and then they weren't. But all in all it was a good time

@@SwankyCatProductions also if you get a heated shield the rain won't be that big of a deal, it will wipe right off, I use heated goggles some times

I-am a groomer operator for the Keweenaw Snowmobile Club. It’s been a weird winter this year hopefully it’s a better one next year. Hopefully see you next year on the trails.

Awesome trails up there riden them many times, how did you get lost! CFJ find some Hamms LOL! Glad to see 4 stroke running good my 2011 has 900 miles on it so I have plenty of miles to look forward to have a good one

Yeah it's a nice place to be! Haha I think he had a few high lifes at the bar actually, not sure if that was a factor or not lol. Yeah I'm pleasantly surprised with how well it's been handling the miles. Seems like it's getting better with age. Take care Jeff!

OK so man I have figured out that My clutch still gets hot but Not as bad after the big fin but making sure that you have all of your holes and vents at least sealed with some kind of snow tape so there is no moisture getting in and onto the belt makes a huge difference also I have noticed that some people are like my sled that is a turbo or adding the bump stop to keep the engines primary from moving away from the secondary during full pulls and Constant speed might be something to look into bud!

I just sold my 2012 F1100 NA for $5,400 and could’ve got more. You could sell yours and buy a nicer one in the summer

There's a link for them in the video description, BT-S2 communicators. There's better ones out there but these are cheap and they work.

Do they make side vent kits for that sled? I have an 06 Crossfire, and I was always going to build a set for my machine. I never did though, haha. Yeah the trails up there can be a little hit-or-miss with the signage. Great ride bud.

They do, I actually almost tried that first but decided I should try the big fin instead. If I blow another belt I'll try the vents but I'm going that won't be necessary... Thanks!

Heated seats and grips are the way to go.

With the snow kit it works good but I've never had a real sled helmet so maybe o don't know what I'm missing?
