Hello, I like this job very much. Can I find a job on this boat? I am a young Egyptian. I work as a fisherman. I have twenty years of experience. I can repair torn nets. I want to find work on a boat in Ireland.

@@captroft Is "Copious" a Parkol build, SC McAllistar design? she doesn't roll much ,just moves up and down on the swell,i notice no stabilizing parahernalia like they do here in New Zealand, bloody nice looking boat.

rusty DUFFY that’s right, SC Mcallister designed , good sea boats for sure. There is stabilising fins under the water, they are 500mm deep and extend 6-7meters fore and aft and are around mid ships. Some calls them bilge keels as that’s probably how they started out being fitted to boats, for protection when the boat was dried on a beach. Now I hear them called rolling chocks, which is more accurate and descriptive. Copious and her sistership prolific could be for sale soon. So she could be yours ! Great buy, fantastic boat for the size class. 👍🏻

M S wee toon? Campbeltown? Campbeltown boats was good boats had one for a few years. Sad to see you are still using the tories as a scapegoat to hide Scottish issues. The HIDB grant scheme propped up Campbeltown for years, making it viable. Without the grants the yard was always going to struggle.
