Chatgpt also stalls often meaning it will issue incorrect answers

Chat GPT is clever but ..... if you dont how to code yes its dangerous and the other issue that I can see is that companies will think as they always do that I dont have to pay you because your AI will do this all for you How ever what they dont realise is that you still have to know how to code by hand and know what to expect for answers The most sensitive issue that Im seeing is no flow charts , no class diagrams , no algorithms and does not understand why or what for hence coding is lousy

Im not anti chatgpt but I can see a number of issues arising from this and causing industry some real problems where some of these problems owing to the number of cuts being made for what are absolute basics , must haves and where years of history have taught me well with this where the main issue will not be the technology and it wont be the engineer It will however be with companies whom have directors and managers with no practical or technical know how who will think , "Five minute job with chatGPT , we dont have to train to any acceptable or professional; standard and we can can now cream off the profits , no need to invest with greed and the usual abuse of power being the result " I dont mean to upset others with this how ever this is just some of what I have come across and have seen on far to many occasions occur within the UK top and with other companies top and bottom of this " It will also result in Sod it he wants the job done with completely unreasonable timing whilst engineers will say we not going to paid for our years of know how and extensible knowledge , we have a company or are working for such that only thinks in terms of 4 /5 discrete demanding skills sets that they only want to pay you a single pay code for expecting all 4 /5 skills for the price of one and the inevitable will happen No thinking required use chatGpt , dont bother about testing , bug finding etc etc and low behold 1 year later just as always this company and its respective counterparts will fail completely due to greed and no appreciation for what you do have to know This has been exactly the same story for every new technology going and every time they do exactly the same and its always the same result with others who then are faced with the mess left behind as always with I dont how many lives ruined & careers also leaving yet another entire proportion of the nation not trained correctly , and who by that stage where you wont detect this early on whom wont ever be able to undo or alter this path or the damage done then just as is the case with many an industry now of which we will have same story with post office saga and the accusations people sitting inside a prison cell because some bright spark says , "We dont want you thinking " and the system develops the inevitable glitch and low behold the next set of major issues then start as with also the banks and other cases now ever present Clever agreed that it is but alas its what you will be faced with All very excited as always then comes the usual story deeply impressed , our problems solved in record times Isn't that such a big wow and all sadly being taken in as always this does super impressed and then comes the bang , same as the yop scheme , same as fast track course which was the next major rip of leaving god knows how many untrained and in sever debt , covid 19 and the grand sell off of hospitals , same as every other industry going software and hardware the next story to flummox and you can put that to the test because you are come across some real issues with answers regarding this and then you can also view how many semiconductor plants they closed and now stuck with issues of shortage of semis , same as the cash vending machines for banks etc etc Same old story with data loss and cant account for this , same old story with confidential data , hacking you name it People are too easily impressed and dont think or consider every outcome that this will lead to and when you point this out and explain why then you will only receive the same stock standard answers as always and of course the usual no answers at all and pass the buck Last but not least thinking you have this extensive knowledge of 4 /5 languages and every library , every method which you are now going to use chatGpt for , also not knowing of the compatibility issues between languages then starts your big major mess and top this with no class diagrams , flow charts testing etc etc well best of luck because we already know where and to what that leads as well which you could also very safely describe as brainwashing at top level and ensuring you are left as people / engineers incapable of thinking for themselves thus reducing you to more or less dummy culture and all for , "FEW DOLLARS MORE " The inevitable all American dream gone horribly wrong
