Copenhagen's BEST Food Market Tour! + Making Our Own Danish Smørrebrød

Today we're touring Copenhagen's BEST Food Market: Torvehallerne! In addition to some of the best coffee we've ever had, this market has so many unique foods from around the world, as well as foods local to Denmark. Once we snag all of our ingredients, we try our best to make our own Danish Smørrebrød 😅

I'm Danish and from CPH. I'm 57 and so impressed of your open minds :-) ! The fact that you made your own Smørrebrød (Smurbroe :-) ) , and willing to try something new. Makes me confident that the world is in good hands ;-) ! BTW! I'd eat your smørrebrød..., and enjoy it ! Wish you the BEST - LUV from Valby/CPH/DK!

Haha.. We actually call it "Hestens Fødselsdag" (The horse's birthday) when someone cuts the rugbrød slices that thick. :)

When slicing your ryebread, do it abit thinner. Usually the ratio of bread and toppings should be 40/60 (bread/toppings) or even 30/70 😁

I have spent most of my time away from Denmark the past 30 years but still go back "home" 1-2 times yearly.

You guys are FAB. I live in Copenhagen and my favorite smørrebrød is potato with mayonnaise, bacon, salad and red onions. So cheap and so original ❤️

The intro with all those food dishes already has us LOVING what's to come. Rain or Shine it's always an ENDLESS ADVENTURE! 😂That sandwich was HUGE like a total MANWICH! Allison's face was so nervous at first with Eric driving the boat but she settled down. Good for you Alli! Your Danish Smorrebrod sanwiches looked amazing. Great video you two as per usual! Thanks for taking us along.

Denmark is such a sweet place! It seems really chill, the boat trip looked hella fun and kinda exciting, but knowing me I’d have been mildly stressed trying to drive that thing! The sandwiches looked so nice! I’m gunna have to try something like that at home! Can’t wait to see what you guys do in Sweden!

If this was the first time you used a cheese slicer, how do you cut cheese? Just big chunks of it, with a knife? Or do you never put cheese on sandwiches? As a Scandinavian a cheese slicer is as normal in the kitchen as forks, knives and spoons... i never thought others don't have them.
