We were lectured that the Gold classification got rid of Group D and it is now Group A, B and E. I think this is newer update. The data was presented form Global initiative for chronic obstructive lung disease.

The updated Gold classification you’re talking about is the standard in practice now. I just learned this in clinicals and read through the comments to see if anyone else had mentioned it
