Another very good review !! The Greek yogurt & corn bread looked delicious 😋 Yes! It's appropriate as it's a short haul !! From Panama to Guatemala !! And presentations were good with real cutlery !! Copa is a good airline to fly on (between Copa and United, it is the superior twin). I do feel like the meal service wasn’t enough, but the seat is so good it almost makes up for it. What a shame they don’t have secondary hubs like Avianca, and previously TACA when they were still around, did.

Copa an Continental has history together. Arround 2000's they decided to fit in the same interiors, seating an layout. Copa refubrished their seats on most of their aircrafs but they sill have a couple of aircrafts with the old layout flying over there, thanks for watching!!!

@@WSAirplanes I figured - their livery still looks a lot like the Death Star the Continental (and now United) planes feature. I would’ve imagined that service was similar/identical as well.

Great video, keep it up, the meals definitely are a let down, especially in business class. Here in India in domestic flights of 2.5 hours in economy, full meal is served on Air India, main course, salad, bun, desert, coffee/tea, so definitely what you got in an international flight was way too less

Definitely the service standars in Asia are at another level. I'm looking forward to go and make trip reports there! Recently I had the chance to fly on a European BC in Spain and even the meal presentation was better. Greetings!

Practically in almost all Latin American airlines what you are paying is for a better seat, because the service or what they offer is very poor. I remember that before the pandemic, Copa Airlines offered two hot menu options on a Caracas-Panama flight, either meat or chicken, as well as lasagna, with their respective salad and dessert. In economy class they offered what you are currently eating in business class. For me a big scam. I went to Santo Domingo last December with my family and the service on the 4 flights was 10g snack tortillas and a very small glass of soda. They no longer offer beer like 2 years ago. The decline in service is unfortunate, with super expensive tickets

Yeah... Avianca used to give a full service from Bogota to San Jose... the competitor that Copa used to have... Since AV no longer have BC they don't have reasons to spend more money on a better service... Remember when they used to offer a full selection of alcoholic beverages in Economy, thanks for watching!

I’m booked to fly with Copa from PTY-GIG, 7 hr flight but with recliner not the flat bed. Those flights deserve flat bed for 7hr. I hope the recliner is as good as I hope to be in late July 23rd.

Copa has plans to adquire more B737 MAX 9 and B 737 MAX 8. Hopefully they have more availability to send flat bed seats on their flights longer than 5 hours.

Not at all, got a tight transit time and flights departed from T1. I wanted to give at leat a take from the lounge in T2 which has a better asthetic image than those on T1.

@@Villa_San No me ha tocado volar en ese avion pero he visto los features de ese avion, tiene menos legroom en ejecutiva, eso si puede llevar mas pasajeros pero con lo basico

Everything else seems to be okay but their meal service in business class is a big disappointment...a let down in what you expect in a business class meal offering and service. I've flown business class with the same flight hours of your two flights (2.5 hours and 3 hours) and they all offered and served hot meals in elaborate settings instead of your cold breakfast yogurts and sandwiches. I've even flown economy where they even served us a hot meal (pasta) in an hour flight from Bangkok to Luang Prabang on Thai Smile.

I agree, this type of meals in BC have become the "average" for some airlines since pandemic. I had another BC flight (upgraded by $50) from Sevilla to Madrid with Iberia Express. For being a 55min flight I got similar meals. Having in mind the price to pay for those flighs is not bad, but is not the case with some Latin American airlines. Thanks for watching!
