During the late 90's I was a university student of Medicine in Bologna, Italy. There is a railway station called San Rufillo,situated on the principal line that connects Roma and Milano. But it is a secondary station,where some local and some commercial trains stop. It is also a parking place for railroad machinery. So,mainly on Sundays' afternoons,after lunch,it was very relaxing for me to get there by bike or even by car,stay for an hour more or less and listen to football trasmissions on radio,watching the trains go by. I had never said anything about this to any of my friends or even my girlfriend, 'cause I was afraid that they would find it (at least) strange .But after watching these two and other similar videos, I've realised that there are actually very much people that just like watching trains and every other relative thing!!! Beautiful video bro!!!

Impeccable switcher . That CP hopper sure brings back memories but for the love all all things sacred, please restore that caboose .

If you mean the one at 1:45 it's a Jordan spreader used to level the ground along side the tracks.

Maybe you could have found a camera position without a tree branch in the way.

Their equipment dosen't look like they spend much money on equipment maintenance!

The only thing missing is a steam locomotive. It was nice to see the crane in operation. At the Spencer shops they have a crane there. It would be an added attraction to see maintenance equipment more often and have it operating. Good video.

HOLY TOLEDO that CN $WITCHER looks like NEW , likely cost the Canadian Tax Payer 127 MILLION $$$ and $old for $crap 6 months later , it had an ashtray and that was no longer acceptable...$CRAP.....it should have looked like that crane before it was $OLD !
