When a predator rips apart its prey to eat it the animal is often still alive and suffers a slow painful death, people just call it natures way. When a hunter kills it in a tenth of the time, the hunter who is a fellow human being is hated and often threatened. Remember people we come before animals. Keep that in mind the next time one of you animal lovers kill an insect that's bothering you. MFK I love your videos.

They are looking for anything they can find to be able to say something negative.Check out the video that Dave is on telling about a guy that put a comment that he only kills what he eats and Dave tells him if u want to go eat dog u go right ahead.Its hilarious!

The worst part is we are turning into a sheep culture. Everyone is saying the same quote," if you kill it, you eat it." Who says? Is this some kind of code of the hunter or something? People these are pest animals, just be real, people shoot'em, trap'em and poison them, every chance they get. Stop turning these raccoons into angels. I am tired of this craziness going on today. In Los Angeles a woman wanted to use her dog to control the rat population. These crazy people went against her saying that it would be cruel to the rats. These animals are getting treated better than some humans. This is sad.

I’ve watched your videos for years and I’m convinced that you my friend could call a killer whale out of the ocean on to your boat…haha great video….

For God sake man put that thing out of it's misery can't you see it's in pain? Are you really that blind? If you're going to be a big bad hunter at least do it with some humanity. This is precisely the reason why nobody wants the death penalty because we can't seem to find a way to put a man down without screwing it up.

Nothin wrong with hunting, but the whole idea is to be ethical with your shot and try to minimize the suffering on behalf of the animal. Should have put it down.

The calling was impressive, the shooting ( shot placement ) was poor at best and letting the animal suffer as it did was unethical and very immoral. One can only hope the animal did not go to waist which would add insult to injury.

Just because you hunts one way doesn't make you any better a hunter than the Guy in this video. That is all in your head about the animal suffering. I Think the raccoon was dead myself when he picked it up. What you saw was nerves. I get tired of all this complaining when all hunters have at least one bad shot. As for the 60 sec rule, the animal was killed quickly( probably clubbed). He could show that because KZread has gotten soft. These raccoons don't even fear humans because they see people are so hesitant to act today.

its stupid things like this that make it thatmuch harder to fight to hunt As much as I hate raccoons, and as much as I know and understand the possibility of wounding an animal, to not only be stupid enough to grab a live raccoon that you injured but let it suffer ... and on camera AND broadcasting it on KZread so more people will think this is epitome of a hunter, is utterly cruel and dangerous and again it'd makes a bad image for us hunters

I don't think that raccoon is alive. You do know sometimes an animal will twitch and move after they are dead. This was just nerves. I cannot see a live raccoon let him pick him up and put him on a truck without escaping. It doesn't make any sense.

I myself am an avid outdoorsman and hunting conservationist. I believe the population of game animals needs to be controlled but at the same time done humanly. We possess the most advanced technology in the known universe for killing. For example I set a 300 yard limit on shots and I will not shoot a moving animal. You will not go hungry if you miss that shot. Your life does not depend on wounding that animal. Clean kills are the true art of the hunt. Show respect for this God givin life and it will respect you.

Seriously you let that animal struggle while you talk.. Wow what kind of hunter does that ?

Nickers 18 Half of them are lying through their teeth. They aren't hunters because their too sensitive. Every hunter misses or has a bad day with a kill. We live in a very pampered society and even Davy Crockett would show up these fools. If the raccoon whimper or stare at them They would be in tears. My grandma has more balls than most of these men.

Is ammo getting to expensive down where you guys live? Use another round and finish the job. Your not trying to save the pelts because your using a shotgun so finish him off don't be a douche hunter. I've been hunting my whole life and I've never seen a guy start filming an animal that is obviously still alive that's messed up.
