That final talk-down, the washcloth over the “eyes”, as well as the “rain sounds” with you tapping super gently around and beneath the microphone, were absolute tingle farms. Been watching since I found an eye exam vid in around 2010 I think! Pretty sure she was the first to do it too! Not sure why it popped up for me and I was confused at first but then realised how relaxed I was, and thus was the beginning of my ASMR journey!

The bit about Casper's kiss gave me such nostalgia. What a film and definitely an early asmr experience.

You should combine the raindisk and the silk fan in a whole video, it would be a perfect match

Is it just me, or the last few weeks have been absolutely amazing, even more than normal? This is one for the vault. I love the rain circle.

How do I explain to people that my brain is tickled by a giant silk fan?!?! Never in my life did I think about this as a possibility. Thank you for continuing to bring new sounds

Same here in Puerto Rico!!! constant excessive heat warnings, one of them lasted about a week. We also get random power outages due to shitty infrastructure which, combined with the summer heat & dust that travels from the Saharah dessert, makes the island a fiery hell

Oh my gosh that rain disk gave me a totally different kind of peace

“And I’m here too.” ☺️🩵 Also the last part in the dark room was so sweet, it reminded me of when my sister and I were little and she’d climb into bed next to me for back scratches or to fall asleep next to each other. So easy and comforting!

The frozen washcloth sound melted my brain!

I'm so happy you included the rain circle!! I have a memory from childhood where someone came to do a presentation in school and showed us different ways to make the sounds of rain-- they had us all slowly snap our fingers to simulate rain and then they showed us the rain stick sounds. That memory has stuck with me for years and it's so nice to hear the sound again 🥰

My toddler loved when Maria leaned close to the camera--so much so that he grabbed the phone and aggressively hugged it while running around in a circle. I understood the feeling perfectly.

Here in England the sun didn’t get the memo - I still have my winter socks and big quilt on the bed! This was still glorious and made me dream of summer nights ahead ❤

The slushy ice pack and silk fan were to die for. I’ve never had so many tingles when you were brushing it back and forth over the camera.

I ttc my youngest for 3 years and what worked was just trying for it (iykwim) every single day whether ovulating or not and using coconut oil. I had her just before my 41st birthday. Good Luck!

Oh my goodness the hands in the dark at the end was one of the most comforting, most relaxing things I’ve ever seen. I’d just about die for a whole video of just that! With the white noise of the fan too, absolutely perfect

I have a 7 month old baby and since she was born I’ve had to try to fall asleep fast when I can, to make sure I get as much sleep as possible, so when I find a video that works, I watch it over and over. There's been a prolonged severe heatwave over here, currently at a 45°C (113°F) and I'm sipping on chilled coconut water, sitting in AC with the breeze of a fan, with a fresh spritz of rose water on my face and a sheet mask chilling for a pick-me-up! While I so desperately needed a cooling, Maria, your video has helped me calm down and I'm so grateful. However many creators or ASMR videos there may be, yours stand the test of time and wash me over with instant comfort and relaxation (even in the scorching heat haha). I'm taking ideas like the gel packs and the hand fans to cool me down!

maria, i would go absolutely crazy if you could make a "counting stars" video, i love the part in that one video where you count the stars on the picture in that national geographic magazine, i would love a whole video of that + if you could do the "picking stars" out of the sky like in the end of this video where you slowly count every one you pick. i would fall asleep so fast every time. love you maria!

Dude same!! I also have a 4 and a half mile walk to work every morning because I can’t afford Uber at the moment (just started a new job and owe back rent). The only saving grace is that I leave at 4am so it’s way cooler outside, and I only have to walk to the bus stop in the afternoon. But I’m still dreading the next few days 😭😭
