Coolest Weber Performer Ever!? | Epic BBQ kettle mods & accessories | “Pimp My Grill”

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

The Weber performer kettle is fantastic w/o mods or accessories but today we “Pimp my grill” to create my dream Weber kettle grill. We change the color, the handle, add a Slow ‘n Sear, Grillgrate, BBQ Guru (partyQ), a decal, etc. Modifications are so much fun. Hope you enjoy this one and I hope you share yours next!

Dang bro very cool. Glad you popped into my KZread feed lol. Now a days weber makes the different color weber kettle for the performer series but they want more for a different color. So I bought the black one thinking one day I'll get a regular kettle and swap it. Very cool that you did that 2 years ago lol

I have an 18 inch Weber kettle that I chose as a gift for a job well done at work a couple of years ago. The only upgrade I have is the food grate that hinges up on 2 sides to allow for charcoal tending during a cook. My star grill is a 25-year-old gasser Weber Genesis Silver B three burner with cast iron grate. I replaced the burner tubes once, the temperature gauge 3 times, the flavorizer bars a few times. I keep a cover on it and it stays on the screened in back porch. Every now and then I give it a pressure washing and it continues to perform like it was new. Weber builds a quality product that will give you a long grill life with reasonable care.

( I just built a bbq balcony, porch with a Pavilion type roof..hanging on the outside wall next to my kitchen in the upstairs..got only 2 kettles, 1 drum smocker ( kettle), 1 gas grill, 1 beefer for speed searing....) ..one thing I noted using bbq s outdoors even stainless parts etc..the rust off in no time..so a welder, rivet gun, grinder, saw, drill is standard tooling next to the kitcheb..😊

Looks great! Any tips on locating correct dimensions for the bracket holes onto the kettle? Want to make sure I have them in the right spot before drilling haha

For the same price as a slow n sear, I got a cast iron grate. Helps w/ heat retention and distribution, while my regular ol charcoal bin and cheap drip pan do the same thing as a slow n sear. Highly recommend going this route instead. Excited to try the maverick probes, since my thermapro just failed!

Looks good! Wish I had more time to just get the chance to use both my Weber’s. Any good chili recipes? I have really been wanting to attempt to make some. P.S. glad to see how much your channel has grown.
