COOLEST AIRBNB IN MEXICO | INSIDE QUETZALCOATL'S NEST SNAKE HOUSE
This the coolest airbnb I've ever stayed in. There are some amazing things to do in Mexico City, and if you want to travel just a short distance outside of it, you'll find the Nido de Quetzalcoatl or Quetzalcoatl's Nest tucked inside the valleys of Naucalpan.
It is a series of 10 apartments build into the back of a giant serpent. It's the coolest house I've ever seen, if you don't mind living in a snake god.
This park was created by Javier Senosiain, a Mexican architect specializing in Organic Architecture. This philosophy of construction blends seamlessly with nature, so they both work together in harmony. When Javier first decided to build the park, he came across a giant cave whose opening resembled the gaping mouth of a snake. This inspired him to continue the theme, and great a giant 18 hectare park, with 13 snakes twisting through it. Despite everything he has created here, the valley in which everything is hidden, is vastly untouched. His constructions are guided using the natural shape of the land.
As far as things to do in Mexico, this is an absolute must. I have never seen anything like this in all of my years as a travel vlogger. It is truly an oasis hidden away from the bustle of Mexico City

TO VISIT:
At this time you have two options. A private tour or staying in the apartment. Our contact for both of these is Patricia. Her email: mopacastillo(at)gmail.com
The easiest, and which that allows you the most freedom is to stay there overnight. It is a 8-10 person apartment, with a recommended minimum of 2 nights. This can sometimes be negotiated depending on the time of year. Get some friends together and split the cost. It is worth it.

Mike Corey ~~ Do a tour and let everyone experience Over Possession. Probably get a group rate . No phones (emergency only) just chats at night. No alcohol. Early rise to watch the sunrise. Catch it on video.. bring your talents. Learn new talent by exchanging ideas with others. A kind of retreat
there are some beautiful places in Mexico...

Mike Corey - it really is huge you could easily fit a whole family in there no problem. We a majestic place to go for a family vacation.
I'm so glad you uploaded this! I'd been wondering what the living area looked like ever since you posted the video of the park. It's so much bigger than I thought it would be. The windows looking out at the park are pretty awesome, and it looks like you have a gorgeous view from all of them!

I don't blame you, all the media making Mexico look bad lol, YES Mexico has and will always have it's bad "hombres" but wich country doesn't have their own " bad hombres", but is not like if they are killing innocent people everywhere, they will just fight and kill rivals, if you're a tourist you are 97% safe am not gonna say 100 because what if you have an accident or something else Hajaja
That place is stunning! Im going to have to start a list of places I must visit, thanks to you!! Love your videos as always.

Beutifull
Do we know if the gardens are now accessible to the public without an Airbnb reservation? I have read that only residents can access, but I have also read that in 2018 there was talk about making them public in the coming years. I just dream about seeing it in person and would book there if I could find a single day that's open!

Son tan buenos tus videos... Mike. :) Saludos

There is a publication on the work of three important American architects titled “Three on the Edge: Architecture of Kendrick Bangs Kellogg, James Hubbell, and Wallace Cunningham.” Decidedly different from each other, the three talented architects' work express the Southern California region and expansive lifestyle-at one with sun, and light, wind and water, and the spare landscape. Expressions of unconfined imaginations allow their buildings to bend, swoop, and soar. The homes and other built environments of Kellogg, Hubbell, and Cunningham sit sensitively within the natural realm yet make stunning statements within it. Each building can be experienced as a great jewel placed beautifully into nature as its perfectly complementing-and complemented-setting. The book is available at www.fineartspress.com
15 minutes from my house.
My time spent there would be quiet reflection of nature and your surroundings. Sitting in a window seat watching natures animals living their lives. Going to meditate in the colorful green house. Listen for the tap tap tap of tiny little feet and the rustling of wings on a predator about to take flight. I could go on. I have a very vivid imagination. Bringing my woman there to make love amidst all the beautiful sounds and sights of such splendour. Need I say more.? So what is that? 2 Mikey? I'm counting. LOL😎😎
