Just ordered this on Amazon for 35 bucks after a coupon to replace my mm711, giving that to son in law. I like cooler master and when I saw the coupon I couldn't resist

i'm using it rn, i like most everything about it - but what's disappointing is that the button software doesn't let me rebind the thumb buttons to F13-F25 keys for hassle free voice comm use.

@@drwhulikesyou sadly yes, i had to return it. 1) the button travel distance setting, is not really there. if you bring it any lower than 4ms then when you pick the mouse up, and set it back down on the mousepad - it will left or right click. 2) the scroll wheel kept scrolling when it shouldn't 3) the scroll wheel also felt like shit and i had two models and they both felt different from each other. it's a shame because i wanted wireless at 60g with switches that are impervious to dust and wear and tear, unlike traditional mechanical switches. i ended up going with the MM730 and i've had no issues with it. i wish it was physically smaller, but i'm tired of searching.

I have the MM712 and I have never had the sensor glitch. Maybe just something weird with your mouse. The Dongle door felt really flimsy, I agree there, but I figure you'd rarely remove it as once you take the dongle out, if you use it, it would stay connected to your gaming rig. Otherwise the dongle would stay in the mouse for Bluetooth or wired connection. Overall, I agree with your review after spending some time with the MM712. The only thing I really didn't like was the fact the DPI button is on the bottom of the mouse. It makes changing DPI on the fly difficult unless you remap one of the side buttons, but then you lose that button for other things. Also, not so much of a deal for me, it is missing a "sniper" button option.

I was a longterm user of the mm710 and switched recently to the mm712. I really loved the mm710 which is why I decided to stay on-brand. My mm710's mousewheel gave up and after research turns out the rubberand problem I had on it was common to say the least. I still have high hopes the mm712 won't have that problem since the wheel is very different. I still decided to stay with the brand because the mouse feel, weight and performance was just perfect for me. I will say that the mm712 is even smaller than the mm710 and I don't recall you mentioning how small the mm712 really is. I have really small hands and in my 30 years of gaming and 25 years of mouse usage I have never had a mouse where I would actually notice the size. So with that being said, Check the measurements of your current mouse before you decide to switch. Right now I really do recommend the mouse. Being a wireless nay-sayer, this one feels very good and it controls just like a wired mouse without the slight feel of drag from the cable.

The MM712 is small, and very light weight at just 58grams. I was actually surprised at how light weight it is considering it was not made to the honeycomb design some other light weights are made to. I did worry the small size would be an issue as I have largish hands, but I still can hold it with a claw grip and it seems to be really comfortable and hasn't caused any stres or strain during my use of it :)

I have large hands also, but I have actually found the MM712 quite comfortable to use, but I don't specialise in any particular category so I guess you'd call me a casual gamer.

It's crazy to think how the internet made all rightys switch to using the mouse with their left hand 😏

I think you mean the opposite lol. Mouse is on the right side for most users :P It is a bit frustrating for left handers though as there are not a lot of ambidexterious or dedicated left hand mice available
