When swapping clamps on your cooling system it’s better to do it when your coolant is cold. The cooling system will then have a slight vacuum on it and it won’t leak as bad. When the system is hot it could have as much as 15 psi of pressure, and if you loosen up a clamp like that too much it could blow the hose off and scalding hot coolant all over you! Be careful, best to do it when cold.

Be patient my friend, the industry will adjust..it must and always does.. Your hard work and being smart has put you in a very good position that you can ride it out.. There’s some lessons to learn from this.. I know, I’ve been at it for 43 years..🙏🏻

I am old enough to remember when all those old cars were new. Loved the ElCamino. When I was 15 about to turn 16 my dad had a 65 Chevy Impala SS 327 column shifter. I absolutely loved that car but he sold it right before I turned 16 because he was afraid that I would get myself killed in the Impala. Then he found me a 57 Ford Fairlane black with black interior that looked brand new and he paid $450 for it. Thanks for the memories. Oh by the way then I worked at an ESSO service station meaning we offered full service including pumping your gas for you and as we filled your vehicle we check air in tires, oil level and washed windshield all for 25 cents a gallon. Now at $450 can’t even get anybody to talk to you.

@@mmesic9043 thank you sir. They were fun. I worked for Chrysler Credit a subsidiary of Chrysler Corporation and got a new company car every 6 months or sooner and in 1974 they sent me a 1974 Plymouth Roadrunner 400 four barrel. Had been promoted and was working primarily in the office so only put 10,000 miles on it and a friend of mine was able to buy it at the end of the 6 months for $3400. We both were only about 23 years old. It was a fun time but vehicles today have way more conveniences. I have a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 RST that is loaded and my wife has a 2022 Genesis GV70 that has all kinds of things. I am an old techie guy but when traded for my truck it actually has gauges and was glad to go back to gauges instead of an animated dash. The new 2022 Silverado has an animated dash.

I run 53ft containers from Indianapolis to Chicago and back. You have to watch those things when you're driving next to them because some drivers are lazy and don't make sure the pin locks are properly secured. They have a higher center of gravity so they tip easier. Whenever i pass one i always check the pins before i attempt to pass them.

The containers on the ship are measured in TEU’s (Twenty Foot Equivalent Units). A 20 foot container is 1 TEU. A 40 foot container is 2 TEU’s. There are also 10 foot containers and tank containers as well as reefers. There are also some 53 foot containers around. The largest ships can carry almost 24,000 TEU’s.

You need to slide your fifth wheel all the way back, so you won't damage or pull off your mud flaps when you make turns. Normally the mud flaps brackets gets caught on the landing gear or chassis.Be safe, and have a good day.
