This video brought up stuff I didn't even think about helping me out a lot I'm doing mine as I speak it helps to put a hose on that drain plug but I couldn't find anything suitable

It's definitely gonna be messy regardless. A hose would be ideal, a funnel jammed in there helps, or just a huge ass drain pan and rags to clean the inevitable mess

I wasn't sure how to get fluid out of overfill . I didn't know that hose was a loop. I removed my thermostat and flushed both sides .I hope I got it all out

I accidentally put Rain X (+/- 1 quart) in the radiator reservoir, will this cause damage?

A small amount like that shouldn't be an issue as it's mostly water. Test it to make sure the coolant freeze level is good. Just don't do it again 😁

Great video it helped me big dog lol. Hey man, I used a kiddie pool then dumped that into a 5 gal bucket. Do they have kiddie pools in Canada? Or do they have kiddie ice rinks? Jk jk thanks again! BTW my truck came from Canada, I forget where

I'm learning from the comments! I'm definitely picking up a kiddie pool for next time

Hey dude, I’m doing this on my 2017 Ram 1500 and I’m not the most mechanically inclined. I got the rad drained, and got my mix with the correct ratio. I’ve been filling it back up through the rad cap but I’m not sure how to tell when you’ve got sufficient coolant in there? The reservoir is pretty tucked away and in other videos people say to fill to the cold full line. What are your thoughts?

Just like you're doing. Fill the rad. Fill to the cold line in the reservoir. Just run it for a bit with the cap off to let some air out. Cap on. Drive for a day normally. Check and top up as needed

You should let people ask you things about acreage stuff then make a video about it

That's a good idea. Then it can flow more freely
This is pretty bad.
