2:03 the lyrics start to getting weird from here, but I think the meaning of the lyrics are like this So the couple went to summer trip because they want to solve their relationship problem, but (maybe) they fought, then the guy went to the beach at night to cool his mind and met a woman alone at the beach like him, they talked about their problem So the woman said that she went to the beach after broke up, and the man decided that he will end the relationship. The next time he went to the beach with his new girlfriend, He saw the ‘woman on the beach’ with new man, just like him, they came to the beach with their new partner Note: I know that this song really popular in Korea, and many singer cover it, but the lyrics are weird, even Wonyoung said that it confused her

It’s not like that. This song sounds very cheerful but this is actually a sad story of two people being in a relationship when they possibly already fall out of love. The guy has a difficult relationship with his girlfriend and he decides to have a trip to the beach as a hope to freshen their relationship again. The guy, is probably still having a heavy heart, maybe thinking of his sinking relationship, goes out in the middle of the night, initially to get some air I assume (I don’t think he leaves the room at night because of a fight, as the girlfriend is confused about him not being in the room with her, “어디갔어 이 밤중에, 도대체가 이해가 안돼” “I can’t understand him, where is he/why isn’t he here when it’s already so late?” despite him planning the whole trip). Among all the couples walking around the beach, he sees a woman walking alone-just like him-and that catches his attention he “absentmindedly” follows her. He decides to approach her (here referred by “woman at the beach”) and it turns out that they have the exact same story as well-she’s in a relationship but she’s already lost her feelings for her partner. I guess the guy feels comfortable, or interested with this woman (“기다리지마 이제서야 만나서” “Don’t wait for me [saying this to his girlfriend] because I’ve met this woman”) he even talks to the woman at the beach until sunrise, not thinking of his girlfriend. When the guy is about to go back home with his girlfriend, he happens to come across the woman at the beach again. But this time, she’s not alone, she’s with someone else. It turns out that she also comes to the beach with her boyfriend (bringing a cool car, according to the lyrics). At the end, no, they don’t break up. The guy doesn’t break up with his girlfriend, nor the woman at the beach with her boyfriend.

This suits jangkku so much

I think this song is not about break up it’s mainly about them wanting to fix their problem coz in the last part he said he was with his girl again and when he looked back he saw the broken girl with another man who I suspect to be the rapper guy since he also said he saw a girl standing alone just like him. So I guess based on the lyrics it’s like 1. They went to the beach to fix their problem 2. He went out in the middle of the night to clear his mind 3. Met the broken girl and talked til the morning 4. After their talk, he realized he wants to make his love “without separation” meaning he didn’t want to break up with his gf(since they’ve been mentioning it’s not right they were in love) and want to fix their problems 5. When the time they return home he turn to look at the beach and saw the girl is now stronger(possibly she looked happier than last night) and was with another man already 6. The rapper guy was the one with her at the beach.
