Hi! someone posted this video in a server so i thought i’d give a watch and tell you how to improve. Hub: - Don’t place a transformation in the hubworld. Or anything that gives you points, for that matter. The exception is when playing through a CToP equivalent. - speaking of which, it’s important to design your hubs with the intention of it being a normal levels escape room, so it flows as a normal level does. John Tunnel: - Most Rooms feel too cramped. pizza tower levels are at least somewhat open so the player still can move around comfortably. - The jump at 1:45 is far too precise for most players to successfully navigate. i’d recommend opening it somewhat. - every secret with the exception of the last is not telegraphed to the player at all. They’d need prior knowledge of its location to find it. i’m pretty sure there’s tilesets that have secret eyes you can place on those walls so that players can actually know where to go. - This should go without saying, but please properly mark your warps on doors. it works in a near identical way to the standard room warps. - please don’t do what you did with the warps at 5:53. it’s incredibly disruptive to the games flow, if you want to make a room entrance downward i’d recommend either using a pizzabox or just making the warp go downwards instead of leftwards. - make sure to wall off parts of the level the player isn’t supposed to be in during pizza time! not doing so can lead the player to waste alot of time for no reason, making them frustrated. Level Two: - Having the intention of having certain areas being broke through is perfectly fine! however, use the object that should be called something similar to “obj_hiddendestructible” in the menu with the metal blocks. it’s a bright fully opaque pink and could help your levels in general (at least on the visual side). - you shouldn’t use as many toppings on the stairs as you do. the player will not lose there combo there at any point. one or two is fine, but it just feels hand holdy as it is right now. I know how it feels to have people criticize or make fun of your work without providing any sort of genuine feedback. it’s really frustrating! but i hope that by telling you about what actually makes the level tick, you’ll be able to improve. You *can* be a great level designer! it just takes lots and lots of practice. if you need anyone to playtest through your levels or just need any help with the design, my discord handle is thewifirouter

wow that's a lot of words. First I'd like to say thanks for the feedback, and second I am fixing most of the problems you listed. Most of them just exist because this was my first time ever using create your own pizza, and with the power ups in the hub thing yeah it's probably a bad idea but I just wanted to do something a bit different. Other then that thanks for watching the video and I hope you're having a good day.

@@scoober7993 I do agree with all the things the guy mentioned in the main comment, but gotta give credit where credit is due, you have some GREAT art skills. John Tunnel’s title card is pretty well made! You could probably even make custom tile sets if you wanted to!
