    DADGAD tuning - not standard. You could do something similar in E in standard tuning, using no capo.

    Is it really a tuning women often fall in love with the guitar player? I heard of it as a “women graber or catcher” Nice guitar sound. I play Celtic trad mostly. But standard suits better flatpicking; unless one plays sets of tunes with the same relative keys. Cheers from Belgium, Thomas

    Do normal chords you would play in standard E still work. Don’t get how those formations could still work if you change the underlying tuning

    It would be difficult to play in standard tuning as you would lose the full sound and playability

    Fine playing but certainly different from what I conceive of as country. One might consider a different approach when playing a country ballad for instance.
