You made comment about the water temp. I live in Corpus Christi TX and the Padre beach water had been about 5-10* colder than normal for summer, until this weekend. I surf and everyone has been noticing it. Supposedly cold current from Australia or something.

@@rsktransportMaybe, but if you've noticed airplanes flying overhead, leaving white lines (like skywriting, except that they're just lines) that dissipate very slowly, it's almost a guarantee that within 6-18 hours (avg. 12) the weather will be cold and wet or overcast. I don't know who they are or why they target certain people and areas. 🤷

Fishing with Brant is always an adventure, whether it is just watching what is down under the water on his submerged camera or being stranded on the side of the road in the middle of the Florida everglades. I have never seen somebody catch so many fish consistently in just about everywhere he fishes...….sounds like an advertisement doesn't it. 😬 Thanks for the videos.

Back in the day they still allowed shark fishing from the PCB pier at night. There was a sizable community of us night sharkers. I used to run baits out for everyone with the big 8/0, 10/0 and 12/0 rigs in my 10ft Zodiac with a 5hp. 12/0 hold a lot a line... it gets spooky way out there at night in a little inflatable boat. Especially dragging a bunch of bloody bonito behind you.

I feel your pain from losing that snapper. I've been trying to catch a flounder for 3 weeks around the Chesapeake Bay and onky caught a little one yesterday. Then today I had a nice one on, maybe a keeper, and it spit my jig at the surface. But I got a kayak and I'll be getting out to better spots. The yak is totally new to me. There's definitely a learning curve. Cook video, as usual. ARS from the beach is pretty special.

Do you guys need any more help with your business? If so I'd be willing to relocate. I grew up fishin' in Sarasota and also fished in Costa Rica for years, so I'm bilingual. And I have ideas for lures that don't exist and should be awesome. Plus working with tackle is kind of a dream job, something I'm qualified for and love. So let me know if you need help. I can be there in a couple days, ready to show up on time and get some work done.
