Troy was doing well until he tried to cook on the upside down iron, both of the others knew to put mean on sheet pan and cook from the top!!!!, also grease won't drip down into holes and into machine that way!!! I think Faith won this pretty clearly in most aspects!! and 8:34 is why Troy didn't, guess there is more Gordon in him than we thought

that's what makes Faith stand up from each other is the way she utilize the iron pretty well.. when she cooked the meat, she used the baking pan and press the meat, as a "senior" housewife she knew that adding some veggie is necessesary, plus she did a lot of seasoning on the meat which good in my opinion, and on top of it, she figure it out that the iron has steam system and make use of it.. this is really exp above everything. troy might be good at cooking but when facing this kind of situation, cooking using iron, he miscalculated everything bcs he not to familiar with clothing iron in general

Well, Izzy had to hold her iron up in the air only so she could cook the eggs.

I really liked this competition and I'm glad Faith won. She was thinking outside the box, didn't give herself more than she could handle so she wasn't rushed, and her excitement about the whole thing was just super adorable and made it fun to watch. Congratulations, Chef Faith!

Troy did use salt. Look at when he's putting meat on the iron, there's a bowl of salt in front him that wasn't there earlier. They just edited out the part where he seasoned it.

Jedimaster Tman cool idea. Contestants get to use an actual stove and equipment but they only have 40-60 minutes. They have to beat Troy but he only uses a random equipment but has all the time in the world

Ramsay has high standards but at least he gives clear instructions, and even his insults contain constructive criticism. I’m not saying Sharon was wrong, but her judgments did contradict the instructions.

Faith's dish was the best prepared meal, she was smart to use the pan to cook the food, with putting the iron as a press to cook the food faster.

Troy just hit us with the plot twist of the year. The man is a professional cook.

Faith was having her own little cooking show 😂LOVED IT !! ♥️

Faith did me proud on this episode 😭 she looked like she had everything under control and put some thought in it Tom🤗

Watching the two of them not use one ounce of seasoning was ridiculous.

This is where being an experienced chef is a bit of a burden, bc you want to do a lot, instinctively you don't cook things simple, you don't do simple. With ample time Troy likely could've easily outdone them.

He didn't know how to use the iron for cooking. It's called a press... It's for pressing clothes. So maybe press the meat and the bread instead of inverting it and trying to use it as a pan.

Sharon's taking this too seriously with those points 😅😅

Troy wasted so much time holding the iron upside down, instead of putting it on top of the food and let it fry while he could do other things.

This was really fun to watch. I enjoyed watching Faith the most--that thing with the steam was VERY resourceful. Not to mention, her segments played out sort of like one of those cooking segments on a daytime talk show, or something. As a matter of fact, I think she SHOULD maybe try for something like that--again, not a full-fledged cooking show, but like a cooking SEGMENT within a talk show--lol, I'd title it "Put a little Faith in your cooking".

I always think Mom's are the best cooks and Faith proves that. ❤❤❤ From the flavoring of the meat, the colors of the vegetable presentation, and down to steaming the cheese, literally! Faith has won the competition from the get go. She also presses the Iron on to the meat to cook instead of cooking the meat with the Iron upside down, cause that is the natural way to use an Iron.

I knew Faith had it when she started seasoning her meats and she went straight to the Cooking Sheet as her Second Heat Source. Everyone else well, you seen the Video. Faith way just made sense and showed her Skill in the Kitchen. Shoot, I wanted her Dish.

Troy wasted his time by putting the food onto the iron to cook instead of on the tray to cook.

The main reason Troy's dish wasn't as good as the others was because he underestimated how much time it would take to cook on an iron the other two cooked their meat first

I feel bad for Troy, not only did he have to lose to raw burgers but they really had to rub it on his face for being "third". Yikes.

It's more of test of improvising then cooking so don't be too hard on Troy. It makes sense that the Mom is best at improvising.

Faith made it work. Pressing with the iron rather than trying to cook food on top of the iron. I love taco salads and fajitas, so hell yeah. Glad she won.

Troy was definitely the most ambitious tho. Tried to cook several elements, and didn’t pick the obvious choice with the ingredients presented. Gordon Ramsay would still be proud! Ha.

CyberRacer I disagree. Everyone else cooked the ground meat, which is much easier to do. And I didn’t see them trying to “sauté” their vegetables like he did, and they kept everything very basic. If you have a bone to pick with him, that’s on you, but with the ingredients presented, I think he made it original.
