I can't wait to go camping after watching your videos. The scene in front of the lake was so magnificent, it looked like we painted the scenery so calm and relaxing. Thank you for sharing the video. Happy camping, guys. 🏕️✨🌳💚🏞️

Nice video. I know it's ceramic, but wouldn't advise cutting directly on the pizza stone. Also, be sure u heat up the stone on top of the oven before putting it directly in the oven.

Thank you for another wonderful episode. I feel so peaceful watching your videos and I’m always sad to see the video fade to black. Can’t wait for the weather to cool down a little more in Southern California so that I can resume camping with all of the Snow Peak gear I picked up. It’s all thanks to your recommendations. Can’t wait for the next upload!

There is a big container at the campground where I can store food at night so it can be protected from bear. :)
I could taste that morning jam sandwich through the TV. Great filming. Cheers!

Yay, another one!! We're always excited when a new video comes out! :D By the way, when was this recorded? It seems like the weather is quite comfortable over there... meanwhile its around the 90's over here in GA, so camping is out of the question for us at the moment haha. Thanks!

Thank you! :)) It was July 18th and the temperature was around 78 degrees. It was a bit chilly in the morning but was great overall. It’s around 90s in the Seattle area for this week as well! It's better to stay cool at home for a while. Hope you stay safe! :))

Great video as always! Are there many mosquitos when you're camping at Lake Crescent?

Thank you! There were some mosquitos but not really bothered.
Love the setup! Does your Floga help radiate heat to your lower body + feet when using it? I have a Solo Stove Ranger and having a smokeless pit is nice, but all the heat shoots straight up.

Yes, I can tell it actually warms up the bottom of the fire pit area nicely.
Those are some nice looking blankets you put on the floor. What brand are they?

Yeah the Minimal Works. They’re from S.Korea and I believe they don’t sell them in the US. You can find an alternative from Amazon here: amzn.to/3PlbTgD
Came back after 3 weeks tent camping. After watching this I want to go back out 😂 edit: If you want to save space and energy, try a shop duster blower (Makita portable) for inflating your board! Also works for oxygen to start a quicker fire and for blowing up cot mats 👍

What's been your preferred cleanup method with your takibi? That's something that I've struggled with a bit when trying to get a good routine down for clean-up/teardown. So far the biggest struggle was figuring out what the best thing to do with the ash is and then of course cleaning that grilltop. Depending on what we made it can be a bit of a hassle.
@mcble
Жыл бұрын
That’s a good question which I don’t have a good answer for you unfortunately. My routine is 1) upside down and shake it on the campsite fire ring, 2) use a grill brush or wet wipes if there are chunks of ashes that are not falling out, 3) put it back in my takibi bag. Inside of my takibi bag is always dirty with all those ashes though so I always put on gloves when I touch it. One thing that I was inspired by one of the comments is about using the dust blower for takibi. Not sure if it would work well in this situation, though. I simply use a grill brush to clean up my tikibi grill top.

@@mcble Awesome! I haven’t brought a wire brush yet, but that’s next on the list for cleaning. Ours has only been used about 7-8 times since we got it this summer and the bag is still mint. Guess it’s time to bid that farewell.
Is it ok to cut the pizza while on the stone or should it be removed first?
@mcble
4 ай бұрын
I think it was okay. But I think it would always be better to move it to another slab or plate for cutting to protect the original stone.
