how is it high standards to cook for your wife? (i loved the video, but there's a huge double standard here. a woman cooking for her husband is considered standard, but when a man does it for their wife it makes him husband of the year??)

​@@nealaguo9814 Well, yeah, it sucks but it's the reality... besides, I think, well what I find personally really great about this, is Ben *genuinely* cares for Jenn and whatever he does come from that, even if it wasn't cooking. Being deeply understanding, empathetic, and caring AND with actions which is reflected in such a healthy relationship is not so common regardless of gender, I think.

Hearing Ben describes Jen’s pregnancy just shows how incredible of a person he is

@@nealaguo9814 i definitely agree men will get praised for doing the bare minimum! but sadly this is how it is and i think what ben did for jenn is still a really sweet gesture and also the fact that he addressed how jenn is doing all the heavy-lifting during her pregnancy and the least he can do is be empathetic and support her (including fulfilling her cravings) was also a nice touch
