Raiden TheKat the one across the street from me does not sell burgers every 5 minutes and it’s been there for several years lol the only time it’s busy is from 11am-2pm on weekdays So thats definitely not always the case. this area is pretty wealthy so I’m sure it makes decent money overall.

Am curious to know what the height and width of the 4:1 patty is before and after cooking. I know macca's uses 20% fat mince so would assume a fair bit of fat comes out during cooking so patty should change size? Does the clam grill put pressure on the patty? I don't see a huge amount of fat on the grill. Does it run off?

Slight pressure on the patty whether it's 10:1 or 4:1. Four one means that uncooked weight is 4 to the pound. Plenty of grease comes off cooking both patties. Don't know the fat content of the burger. You could ask for a cooked patty and subtract off the weight of the wrap or box to get the answer. The upper platen height above the grill can be adjusted within like 5 thousandths of an inch. 10:1 meat takes around 40 seconds to cook. Both lower and upper surfaces are heated.

"Why are you going so slow? we have numbers to meet. There's a fucking line of cars all the way out into the car park. Move your ass or I'll have you sweeping the floors for the rest of your shift." My manager when I worked at McDonalds if it ever took me this long to assemble a Quarter Pounder.
