@@filthyclown8033 IKR :). A regular Mos Eisley. Best Regards.
OMG!!! That looks sooo good... thank you!
RIP Chef Michel - True Legend
Hats off. He’s still got it!🏆
I did my first coulibiac in 2001. A complex and delicious dish. Well done chefs. Rest well Chef Michel Roux. Bon appetite.
There's a lot of pressure on Alain's shoulders I'm sure, to retain those 3 stars for all those years.
AMAZING !!!!! Timeless !!!! Wonderfull French Cuisine !!!!
Absolutely stellar Chef Michel … I jus’ love to watch you professionals cook at Waterside Bray INN … I thank you for the tranquil cooking session …
I admire his 👐.... A divine touch for the food
These are quite simply, masters of their craft.
AT SOME POINT, I will attempt this recipe. It will be magnificent, too!
Marco enters: "By cooking without color, we allow the natural sweetness of the sugar in the onion to come thru. A recipe is more of a guideline never cast in stone. It's your choice."

cooking without colour, retains its freshness
Alain was very sweet with the kiss at the end.
"you're a naughty boy - Chef" - love it 😊
Thank you for sharing food culture #FoodCulture - educating the world with authentic recipes and cooking methods
That looks absolutely amazing. I want to eat right now. Very good
Michel Snr is the best Chef to watch cook - bar none
Master n pupil ... natures courses... creates natural vibes.. and good dishes... just wonderfull
Yeah, tough footsteps to follow. Luckily for Alain he's amazingly talented as well.

@Jim The Raspberry Aside the 5 Michelin stars between them to say otherwise, Michel sr had more charisma in his left pinky finger than most in their entire being. He could tell a story and, unlike you, make it count.
A master and his master just doing what they do best.
Beautiful food by incredible chefs. The very pinnacle! How I'd love to visit Le Gavroche and The Waterside one day!
RIP Michel Roux. Hats off to this awesome chef.
When they were building it I was like "Nah, really?" But yes, the end result is simple but really well thought out and looks delicious! I'm gonna try it. 🙏
Beautiful, thank you for sharing ❤
Stunning. RIP Michel.
That is so oldschool! I love it... :)
Bless 🥰 The food, the two men, the skills ... 💪🏻
Reminds me of cooking the sea bass and rissoto dish 6 days a week . by the time I left that kitchen one of the best compliments was you cook the sea bass like chef Willy .
the kid having trouble with the dull mandolin during the fish searing scene was hilarious..... I kept waiting for him to julienne his hand
I like how they agree that that a nice chunk of top qualiity fish goes to the cat. Great video.
Rest in peace Michel Roux !
Beautiful. Wholesome video
What great men!!
I have only just seen this video and it brought a tear to my eye seeing them working together! I’ve always loved watching Michel on tv, he was an amazing chef but also a wonderful ambassador and inspiration for cooking for generations of people and a true gentleman! My wife and I both shed tears on his passing. RIP Michel Roux you are missed x
This video reminds of old cookbooks from the 50s and 60s. The "edit" because I wrote "70's" and edited after having discovered my mistake because they were more modern in the 70s.
03:01 ”as soft it becomes and as cooked it begets” I guess that summarize my french apprenticeship. Geniuses trying to teach a fool.
So pretty much a big ol’ fish burrito 🌯 I’m down.
What a nice guy his dad was. Rip michel Roux sir
The tension between you guys , showed up on the camera

Not really, but you're just an over-analytical slob.
Perfect umilty. I love this family and the knowledge of the kitchen. I wish u all the best
Vest tres manifique charmant!🙏🙏🙏
It always amazes me how many commenters here are so much more knowledgeable than 3 Michelin starred chefs.
They cute!!! You want a bit more...yes, right there. ONIONS MADE ME LAUGH!!
Hanging with Dad tomorrow
Makes me hungry...Looks like a holiday dinner to me.
I wish i could have worked with my dad, very lucky indeed.
As soft it becomes and cooked it begets... True frenglish
XXX RIP Michel Roux XXX So many words, so little to say
they make it look so easy... but there's 100 ways to fuck this up.
Feel for Alain. The one time I feel Michel falls down is his expectation of Alain. Alain is so incredibly talented, but seems permanently played off against his dad and uncle, and especially against Michel Jnr. Alain is inspiring in his talent, want to see more of his creations.
Its the strangest thing. I can smell the basil, lemon and tomatoes while Michel is 'snipping'...I live in Houtbay; a pretty little fishing village next to Cape Town and I have access to excellent fresh Tuna. I am definitely going to make this Coulibiac with Tuna.
That kitchen would be worth more than my house!
The pastry (not the pancake) looked a little undercooked there. Still, fun to see these two work together.

Looking for someone who noticed too. I have seen some suggesting the use of an oven stone for this, but I guess playing with the heating in the oven can also help
It’s not a roux dish if there isn’t mushroom duxelle 😂😂
Delicious 😋
If you watched the video - be brave and cook the dish! You have just watched the best chefs in the world show you how to make a wonderful fish dish. In case you didn't immediately understand, it was made with love. The love of a father and son.
I don’t know why i’m here But i like how they cooking together
Looks amazing
RIP Michel :(
Er ist soo lieb zu seinem Papa.
